I usually donāt take time to write these reviews so you know my experience here was over the top bad. You would probably do better going to the corporate store in the Christiana Mall which is what I should have done in the first place. Went in with the intent of switching to Verizon from AT&T with 4 new phones and 4 new lines. The wait was ridiculous. They definitely need more staff. The entire ordeal was a nightmare and they are super unorganized. A staff member took forever to sign you in because he was busy helping customers. I am a very patient person but the wait time was totally insane. They should at least have a separate person signing people in during busy hours. But that is not the worst part in my trip to this store. It is finally my turn and the sales person was inattentive and rude! All the while during our interaction he could not do his job because he was texting back and forth on his own phone! I was trying to ask different questions about different phones to see which devices would benefit my family and sometimes he would vaguely answer but would not look up from his own phone! Needless to say that was the part that did me in. I let him know that this was the worst customer service I have ever had from any store and if there is not a rule against openly using your cellphone while helping customers on the floor that is not relevant to the business there definitely should be. I have been in customer service and sales for a long time and this is not how things should go. To the owner please do not respond with the generic rhetoric trying to handle me. Handle the employees in your store so another person does not have to go through what I did. We were looking at the new iPhone (my daughter's love iphone...SAMSUNG š) We were there for 2 minutes when an older white gentleman comes up and says "How can I help you" I told him I have upgrades ready and I would like to upgrade my daughter's phones. He says "No, see we close at 7:00pm and I would like to start closing now so this will not happen tonight" I looked at him and said "the sign says 8:00pm on the door so we have plenty of time" his reply was "We are under temporary hours so our new time is 7:00pm" my oldest daughter looks at him and says "Well if that's true then will you be fixing the sign on the door to reflect this change" That's when we walked out. I went home did the upgrades online for them. Never again will I go to this store. I have been a VZW customer since 2008 and this store has always been rude. I love VZW but this Middletown store needs new...

Z and J were patient, understanding and knowledge and used humor and kindness to make going there stress free and dare I say fun. The others there are equally kind and helpful but these were the 2 men from my last two visits who I actually have names for. Since my new phone needed the settings changed, and things explained etc, I had to come back in w a list of questions, and J did not flinch even knowing this was not a " purchase" visit. In the future , This is just a suggestion..if someone is worried about losing messages during a transfer and is new to this game ... offering to save everything to the cloud first would be a great CYA even if it takes an extra hour or whatever. People can cross the high way n shop and return. Corporate, this is a great store w great...
