If you would have asked me 4 months ago, I would have given Wall & Webb a 5 star rating. They took several pieces of jewelry, which I supplied, and made a one of kind engagement ring for my sister. The jewelry used is very sentimental. They were pieces left to me by my deceased father, grandmother and grandfather. They did such a fantastic job with the engagement ring, that I left the unused jewelry (multiple diamonds, rubies and gold) in their possession with the intention of having a few pieces of jewelry made for myself. After deciding to hold off on the additional pieces, I attempted to pick up my remaining jewelry to no avail. I had work with the mother, son and daughter, yet no one seems to know anything about my jewelry. The daughter, who I worked with to design my ring, has not been available for the past 3 months. And the mother and son have been rude to my husband and I. Rude is actually an understatement, because I don't think it would be appropriate to say how we were really treated and how we continue to get treated every time we contact them for my jewelry. I don't think I will ever see my jewelry again, which breaks my heart. I fell in love with this family owned business and the family, only to be taken advantage of and have my jewelry stolen from me. I would love to give the sister the benefit of the doubt, but it's really hard to when she refuses to talk to me. I just wish I would have spent more time reading the reviews, BBB rating, and court cases against the company before I entrusted my family...
Read moreI brought a few pieces here for repair and they did good work, albeit the return time was slow. Although, I left a string of pearls there to be restrung. It was almost 60 days from when I dropped it off (they have the right to keep your jewelry if you don't pick it up in 60 days). I asked for it back because I could not wait any longer. The jeweler started cursing and yelling at me. He outright REFUSED to return my jewelry. I offered to pay him for whatever work was done, I just wanted my sentimental jewelry back. He hung up on me three times because he didn't like response to him refusing to give back my jewelry. He also told me it was somewhere in the shop, he didn't know where and he didn't have time to find it. I was shocked and said, I'm sorry but I will call the police. He said, they were already there that morning and there was nothing I could do - promising! I went to the police station and the officer went there to retrieve my jewelry. I had to draw a picture of my clasp because my necklace was apparently taken apart and on a table with three other disassembled pearl necklaces and they didn't know which one was mine. I was RELIEVED when the police officer was able to retrieve my pearl necklace based on my drawing. He told me to use other places because they have many issues with this jeweler taking items and things "disappearing." I hate to post poor reviews but when I have to get the police involved, that is where I...
