Oxygen Lounge — Restaurant in Midland

A good bar or lounge will be the direct result of the bartender and the cocktails. We found the cocktails interesting (in a good way) and the bartender facinating. He was very social, gave us the lay of land and pointed us to different lakes we might want to visit on our next visit.

We were at Oxygen for a late afternoon drink and dessert. We opted for dessert the because our dinner last night left us stuffed. We saw the case of awesome desserts at Cafe Zinc (attached to the bar) and asked for our choice. They brought it over and we went outside to the patio to have our drink & dessert.

Sat in the courtyard and enjoyed some cocktails and an appetizer. Loved the atmosphere, and would be great put there year round. They have large and beautiful space heaters, plus lovely seating area both open and shaded. Service was great. My server was friendly, and had he good recommendations (pear cocktail was fresh squeezed juice). The presentation of the food was great, and the prices are reasonable....
