The raw, unfinished walls and rustic seating are a nice touch at WhichCraft. They serve as a good reminder that many of the buildings in Downtown Midland have a long history and the old brickwork and the obvious scars of change show the character of the place like the weathered look of an old barn. So to speak. Because this is a bar/restaurant, not a barn. Repeat, there is no barn. It was just an analogy. Never mind. Going to a bar/restaurant in the mid to late afternoon is often dangerous. Not in the never-sit-with-your-back-to-the-door way, but more in the threat of bad service. More than once I've been disappointed with service during the afternoon lull, when there are often few customers. That was not the case here. The down-right chipper staff was very attentive and carefully explained the ins and outs of the way, very impressive brew selection and then answered all of our questions about the menu. Our food was delivered promptly, warm and fresh. What more can you ask? Oh, maybe some out-dang-standing local brews. Not a problem. Lately, I've been avoiding brews in favor of wines, but I made an exception at WhichCraft and I'm glad I did. I chose a light ale and it was delicious. Generally, I include a review of the restroom but this time, I just never made it in there. So, sorry. You're on your own there. In keeping with the level of service, our very reasonable tab was delivered on request and promptly paid. So, nice atmosphere, good service, good food and drinks at reasonable prices. I don't give five stars lightly, but WhichCraft deserves each and every one of them. Good job, people!

Great place Our server was very friendly and had a good knowledge of the beers on tap, which really helped out my friend. His knowledge of the drinks of the menu was top notch. Food was great. Roast beef sandwich was excellent, and I heard great things about the peanut butter and jelly. Almost everything locally sourced and delicious. Decor is great, and they have a lot of board games and thing to keep you occupied while you wait and even while you eat. Overall great place. Only complaint is the bench I was sitting on was very wide, like two people could comfortably sit back to back on it. Just a little tricky to get seated. But it wasn't enough for me to not rate this place 5 stars!

I loved it here!! I was highly impressed. When you walk in the is a great atmosphere. Love the decor on the walls. There are even board games to play if you want. They have tons of taps and have a beer flight option. The staff is welcoming and highly knowledgeable. I highly recommend getting the house sandwich it was amazing!! This is casual bar food though like sandwiches and wraps no fancy meals if that's what you are looking for but the beer cheese and onion are ssooooo good. They do have wine and liquor but its a select menu on the liquor. I can't give enough praise on how much I enough my late lunch.

I went here for lunch before the tapped event with friends and enjoyed a turkey melt panini sandwich and a beer flight. Flights are five 4 ounce tasters and the cost depends on what type of craft beer you purchase. They have 40 taps along with bottled/can beer and wine. The food menu has expanded and greatly improved with farm-to-table choices. Outside front and back patio seating. Indoor high/low top and bar seating. Excellent service. WiFi, but you have to ask for the password. Street and rear lot parking. I have and will return.
