At marshalls the cashiers refuse to do what they were hired to do. I have heard cashier bicker to one another saying “you check them out” “no you do it” in front of customers (i wish i was joking too). They will also make eye contact with customers waiting in line and will turn and walk away so they dont have to check them out, its honestly embarrassing seeing cashier not be able to preform what they are supposed to do. The registers are always a mess too, there will be clothes laid out everywhere and no one care to clean it up. The saddest part is that management just doesn't care. They will stand behind the register and make customers feel bad bc they didn't want a credit card but if they're employee stare at the customer and then get on their phone and tell someone else that customer is their problem then of course management doest care. I will watch managers call people while in front of customers and now their employees are taking after them. Also i have been told through marshalls employees that someone who is in charge is on hard drugs (im sure you can figure out who, make it a game). It is sad to see people fail at such an easy job truly sad. Marshalls is one of the easiest places to work but everyone makes it harder because of laziness. Long story short, management refuses to have their employees do their jobs and employees are fine with it. Next time you go to marshalls stop and look around and youll see how messy marshalls is because again people dont care to do the worlds easiest job. I wish them luck in the real world because they...
Read moreDuring my time at Marshall’s I was constantly watched by guest or undercover shoppers, I’m not quite sure but it was very irritating. My partner and I would walk around and isles would be blocked off, people rushing to go down the isles that we were going down (mind you leaving their baskets), people would get quiet when we passed by, and people would also stop on the isles we were on and walk by super slowly until we looked at them and they’d rush off. At first I thought I was just letting my anxiety get the best of me but I talked to my partner in the car about it and they noticed the same things. We even had this guy peering over sections to stare at us throughout our entire shopping trip. I’m not sure if it’s because we are an interracial couple or if they were just assuming we’d steal. And then when I was checking out the cashier was happy to check us out but started catching hints of an attitude when we were not interested in a credit card/rewards. I gave three stars because I like the items I got but won’t be coming back again. I live in okc but came to this one because they had more curly hair products for me at the Midwest...
Read moreOriginally I left positive feedback but being that I needed help with an item I purchased I couldn't send off the warranty because I was unable to locate the serial number when I called the store manager to see if she could find the same product if I gave her the model number she was simply unwilling to do it tell me to come in and bring everything so if this is how you treat people what if a person is handicapped sick or pregnant and can't come in we are tired of being treated this way as customers and hearing we are sorry just because you're lazy and don't want to assist anyone people don't want to do nothing to help anyone anymore it's not a matter of you can't do it it's a matter of you didn't want to do it we have a president now who is fighting to do what's right and I believe he needs to know about this type of stuff to pass an executive order to make people get off their butt and work for the money because in situations like this you are simply just unwilling to do anything and trust me I will be bringing this to his attention because I do plan on meeting with him I have spent too much money in this store to be...
