Very disappointing first time experience with this new location in Midwest City, Oklahoma as well as first time experience with Chipotle. We will say the food was good, but the staff had no clue whatsoever on maintaining a desirable atmosphere to come in and dine. Number one the seating is very limited indoors when it’s 90° plus outside The floors of the dining area were not suitable for animals to eat off of let alone for customers to walk around and find a clean place to sit down and eat.. Staff members evidently never trained or instructed to keep the dining area floors, swept with their menu items scattered all over the floor..the order/service countertops for customers placing their orders was unquestionable disappointing. Why not keep them clean of food left spread all over the counters where you make your purchases… Inexcusable anywhere any place anytime. When the staff is standing gathered like a football team in a huddle discussing who knows what and completely ignoring the unsanitary conditions in a brand new restaurant, we asked for a manager, and was told one was not available …not for the reasons to mention above, but for the simple fact that we witnessed ourselves and experienced ourselves ABSOLUTELY NO place for handicap parking whatsoever. But front door spaces marked for curbside pickups only! Unbelievable..! This place will not last long at all, especially with corporate or even local owners/management completely ignoring the obvious downfall of this location…(completely lazy and carefree staff and service) it almost seemed like some kind of sabotage it was so blunt and obvious. Our visit with several patrons during this experience was. “it is so sad because they have a good product to eat but no way would I ever recommend this place for in dining experience.” They almost force you for this to be a curbside or to go ONLY atmosphere, you’re sorry you sat down. you just wanna get the heck out of this nasty unbelievable place. ..that alone will keep me and others that we visited with on our only visit to this establishment from ever coming back or recommending. Unless a real owner or manager, that cares about success assertively steps up , this place is doomed for sure to fail quickly in business here, with such a good location, opportunity even. Go see for yourself, a really really really bad operation with good product to consume. Hard to make sense...
Read moreThis location is brand new. It should not be as bad as it is so soon after its grand opening. The floors and lines where the food are made are always dirty. The staff has no sense of urgency and get in each other's way constantly. If any issue arises, they stand there just looking around and I have never seen any semblance of management. I've come in several times when there has been a line and there is not meat on the grill and to no surprise, they are out of several protein options. Who ever is supposed to be ordering to keep stock levels optimal needs training. LOL literally just now as I'm standing here, waiting for my pick up order- which is already 10 min past pick up time, some one came out to tell myself and the FIVE OTHER PATRONS waiting for their online orders that the reason why the orders are so behind is because they were out of steak and that it would be another 10 minutes before it would be ready. They did give us the option of chicken- I took the chicken but I already paid the extra for steak. This is the most disappointing store opening I have ever seen.... And there have been at least 2 other Mexican-style restaurants in this location. This Chipotle isn't going to fail because of the location, however- locals have been wanting a Chipotle in the vacinity for so long- it will fail because of the obvious lack of training, lack of care by the employees, and lack of any...
Read moreWhen I walked in there was a good line so I thought for sure it's going to be good. Normally I get a chicken bowl with brown rice guacamole sour cream cheese and mild salsa with chips, like literally, that's it. First of all the brown rice looked so old and dry it was unappealing so I chose the white rice instead. Then somehow as I am ordering, white rice chicken all of the sudden they ask what salsa, I say mild, he slaps a huge pile of pico de gallo on my bowl, covering all the chicken and most of my rice, never did I ever asked for it, and not a huge fan of cilantro, what's already in the rice is plenty!!!!! Anyways I asked is that mild and he said yes this is mild too, and proceeds to scoop two scoops of true mild salsa in the bowl. Before I can even object he's asking if I wanted anything else on the bowl. I said guacamole cheese and sour cream, and chips. I literally thought about just walking out without the food but I had already been there for about thirty minutes and I was starving after having been sick as heck for a week. Wasted almost $20 and my time, never will I go back to this Chipotle, and it's a newer one. Used to be one of my favorite restaurants, they've really declined over the last ten years and it shows in every aspect of...
