I am literally shocked with the experience I just walked away with. My husband and I get our lunches here almost daily! But I will never return to this Chick Fil A and I will make sure everyone in my Tinker Wives Club and Disabled Veterans group are aware of how I was treated by this location's management. AND ALL BECAUSE OF A JUICE BOX. After spending $30 on food for my family of five , we realized we didn't receive the juice boxes for the kids meal. My tea was sweet instead of unsweetened, and all the little goodie bags that you dump onto the salad were missing. No big deal, right?? Wrong. I called and I explained all of the above and I even APOLOGIZED for calling because I thought so highly of my customer-service relationship with this location. Boy, was I wrong! The woman I spoke to interrupted me continuously and was going above and beyond to be as rude as possible. She refused to give me her name. I asked her for her name at least 4-5 times, in the nicest way possible. And she got angrier and angrier with each attempt. Then she handed me off to "Jack" (from the look of previous reviews, it seems Jack is earning an infamous reputation as being inhospitable to his store's patrons) and before I could even speak, he interrupted and said the same thing the unnamed woman before him said. I was told that I "wasn't an exception to their policy. I could take the coupons or leave them." I was questioned as to why we didn't go back for the juices asap, because according to him, that would have been no problem whatsoever! (What's the difference?!?) Well Jack...I'm a disabled veteran. Getting in and out of the vehicle isn't an easy feat for me. It's painful. Also, I have 3 small children that are too young to stay in the vehicle for mommy to run inside for their juices. So why didn't I just go through the drive thru again? Because it was WRAPPED around your building nearly. Who would wait in that line TWICE?? And why don't I take the coupons? Because we are moving soon and at this point I was already offended enough, that I just wanted a refund. Also...its just the principle now! If a customer PAYS for something and doesn't receive it, it is the responsibility of the customer to report the discrepancy to the management and receive PROPER compensation. If that customer doesn't want the coupons, then you make it right in another way. Even after this lengthy review, I sense that I still wasn't able to convey the level of rudeness I received from this management team. It's ludicrous that they would be willing to treat a DISABLED individual in this manner. Are we a burden to you Chick Fil A because we can't go through the "proper procedure" of walking into the building for our missing items? I'll be busy filing complaints with many different organizations today. So disappointed that this had to end so horribly. Guess they couldn't afford to "lose" that apple juice box. Hope your choice...
Read moreMy family and I enjoy frequenting your Chick-fil-A for a quick enjoyable family meal. This evening we stopped in for our usual visit however our evening was anything but enjoyable. The food was great as always and the location pleasantly clean, however the supervising staff did not compare. Rianalysa helped us order our meal and checked us out. She was genuine, kind and all around everything we've come to expect from team members at your establishment. Rianalysa exemplifies great customer service and is an asset to your company. Unfortunately I can not say the same about Christine( Sp?). While Rianalysa attempted to gather our requested drinks she had to refill the lemonade and our family listed as Christine then taunted "you better not spill any".
Why would you not offer to help? She was simply leaning against the counter watching talking to another team member doing anything else.
Rianalysa made a small slip and spilled a very small amount of the lemonade down the side of the container. We have to make mistakes to learn , don't we ? Instead of offering to help clean Christine then informed another team member " she will be taking it apart and cleaning every single piece tonight that's for sure".
This was all done in front of us while we were still waiting on our drinks. Christine not only bullied and embarrassed an employee for making an honest mistake but made a customer wait several minutes for their drinks.
We then watched Rianalysa was made to refill the sweet tea and the ice coffee in what almost seemed like punishment as there were several members leaning against counters that could've helped ?
I am saddened by how Rianalysa was treated and can only hope you realize what an asset she is to your company and begin treating...
Read moreWe were a tad disappointed tonight when we made our order in the drive-thru, yet one more item we really enjoyed has been removed**. My husband and I both ordered the #1 and either the sandwiches had been holding too long, or the grease needs to be dropped. The chicken was greasier than normal, and just did not have a good taste.. at all. We also ordered extra pickles, and they didn't add any extras, just those 2 lonely slices. The old traditional way was that each bite, should have a bite/taste of pickle, if that's the case, what's that say about the size of the piece of chicken ;) ha ha.. He ordered a lemonade, and me a peach shake.. he received a tea instead. We didn't complain, because my shake was pretty awesome!
** I understand that companies change things through time, but c'mon there are just certain things one goes to Chick-fil-a for, and it's not just that ONE chicken sandwich. They've removed the carrot raisin salad, coleslaw, and now even the chicken salad sandwich, which if it wasn't as good of a seller anymore, it's because they changed how it was even prepared. Sometimes change isn't always good, especially when you're taking away from the consumer.
Needless to say, the items we come for other than the original are gone, chick-fil-a will just be our summer peach shake place now, at least we...
