Normally I rave about the Warren theater and it's service and quality. I generally adore a visit. I know that the last year has been tough and that the theater just reopened, but that was no excuse for the lack of communication on limited amenities at the theater. We were excited to return to movie going and bought balcony tickets so that we could enjoy dinner, drinks and a movie to celebrate a return to the theater. Upon arrival at the theater we were greeted with a paper sign telling us there was no service in the balcony and upon arrive at the top level the upper bar was completely closed as well. A sign is good but a person ( like a manager) standing there at the beginning of each showtime would have been better. Aside from the fact that we would be seat above the auditorium there was no reason to pay the additional price for the Balcony seating. Once on back on the ground floor we were faced with the option of popcorn, drinks and candy or a hot dog, nachos, or a pretzel. Since we had been planning on dinner in the balcony this was a sad offering. Over all the evening turned out to be quite the disappointment.
I understand that things are just now reopening and that they likely have limited staff and options based on the year of being closed. I was most disappointed by the fact that there was a total lack of communication or notice outside a paper at the desolate and unmanned podium. A notification on the website or when you purchase your ticket would have sorted a lot of issues before we even purchased the tickets. Allowing us to plan for dinner out or at home before we arrived at the theater. Luckily we we half an hour early and the staff switched our tickets for floor seats and refunded us the difference. The environment and the movie were both lovely as always.
While they are in the process or reopening be sure to call ahead to see if you are getting what you are paying for so you can avoid the same...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy husband and I have been coming to this location since the 2022 National Cinema Day (Sep 3). That day we watched āBeastā. Love this convenient location, close to the restaurants and shopping centers. We are so glad we signed up for the Regal Crown Club. The membership is free. What is great is you pay like half the normal adult price on Tuesday Discount Day. And every dollar you spent, you earn 100 points. We have been redeeming our points for free drinks at the concession. Yesterday (28-Jan-2025) was Tuesday Discount Day. We watched āDen of Thieves 2ā. We paid $17.44 (2 persons x $8.72 incl. tax) for the 2 of us) and we paid $5.46 (incl. tax) for a medium popcorn + a free small mountain dew (7,000 points redeemed). Lots of parking at this location. Nice building. Nice and comfortable theatres. Clean and friendly atmosphere. Customer service is the best! My husband, accidentally dropped his paper soda cup, as he was walking up the steps. That went our drink that we were to share. I thought I could grab a bottle of water from our car but unfortunately there was only a small 8 fl.oz with just may 2 oz left. I didnāt want to pay $7.00 to buy the drink because there was not enough points to use. I went to the friendly usher and told her what happened. She took me to the concession where the kind attendant gave me a replacement cup of soda. I was so relieved and thankful, for the replacement, because the movie was 2h 24m. That is a long time to sit without a drink. Thank...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreUpdated September 6th 2024 Started going to there when it opened. The cracks are now starting to show. I know it's regal that owns it now. Went to watch the new Beetlejuice movie there due to it being conveniently placed not far from us. We have gone many times before this time. I feel like choosing a seat is a twisted game of find the seat that reclines and is not cracked open on the headrest. There have been many times now we've chosen different seats and we know which one to avoid at all cost. What worries me is there is no progress or attempts to fix these chairs. The open headrest part is the main reason why I won't be going back there anymore. If the are showing movies back to back and the person that was sitting in the seat prior to you has any critters on the head they're going straight to those cracks in the leather. Since the leather is cracked it means that even when and if they clean the seat it wouldn't be properly cleaned due to that. We've now had chairs where the recliners are broken, heating doesn't work, the side table wasn't able to be pulled to the front of you, cracked leather headrest, cushion in some of the seat are not even so your tilted to one side. After Beetlejuice was done and stood up and realized that EVERY single chair's head rest was breaking down and cracked and split open. Balcony and bottom rows are all looking very run down. Until they can fix there chairs I only see that movies theater...
