My wife and I have been ordering take-out from Meiji every Saturday night for nearly a year. Up until a couple of months ago the food was on point. I always order the same thing, 2 Spicy Miso Ramens and my wife gets 3 sushi rolls. The problem is lack of consistency. Nearly half of the time our orders are either completely wrong or incomplete. Sometimes salads come with rolls, sometimes they don't. Sometimes the salad is a spring mix, sometimes it's iceburg. This time both of my spicy miso ramen were missing the chashu. I know this is a 1st world problem and in the grand scheme of things incorrect take-out is not a big deal but I LOVE THIS PLACE! I love their ramen. We only eat out once a week. I really look forward to it. I spend at least $100 every Saturday here. I'm just tired of being disappointed. I'm not going to call for a discount or coupon or anything. I don't care about that. I just want the food I ordered to be correct and consistent.

I stop by here occasionally, I really enjoy their seafood ramen and kani salad, which I didnt order this day. I ordered several appetizers and sides because I wanted a little of everything. Service was good as I went in after the lunch rush and food was quick to come out. I added pictures of what I ordered. The price reflected all the things ordered including soda.

Our favorite local hibachi restaurant. They also have delicious ramen comparable to Tamashii’s Ramen House and Sushi better than Volcano. The service is always incredible here. The chefs actually have charisma instead of “going through the motions”. If you’re wanting an adult drink I recommend the haiku colada.

First off I never leave reviews but this time I have to . This has been our go to over the years, it used to be outstanding. Something has changed . As of our last two visits over the course of 6 months . Today was the nail in the coffin for us. We will be looking for a different hibachi place from here on out . Today we made reservations for 7 pm . We arrived a little early to check in . We got sat about 20 minutes after 7 . Which was testing as we made reservations and they were plenty of open tables . It took about 30 more minutes to get drinks to our table . Then it began we waited from almost an hour for a chef to come to our table . They were going to tables that arrived after us . I said something to the staff and to their credit they immediately took action to correct. Once we had our chef I thought we are in the clear . Wrong , he completely missed the mark . He didn’t season any of the food besides the proteins . And he just added some sauces to them . The vegetables weren’t cooked long enough . When he plated them they were still hard but warm . Then after our family ate what they like which was the proteins we waited for our check for another good while . I’d had enough and went to speak with management. He apologized and that was that . A few of the servers who have been there for a long time intervened and had the check adjusted to 30% off and apologized. Which I do appreciate but still doesn’t fix the very poor service and low quality meal . And 2+ hours of frustration. We won’t be back for now unless we hear things change to how they...

Never in my 28 years of dining have I ever encountered a waiter as impolite and disrespectful as James was. We came to enjoy hibachi celebrating my good friends’ birthday and our experience with the hibachi chef was great! He put on a wonderful “show” and we enjoyed the drums played. Food was great.

James (our first waiter) made the experience awful. To start off he was rude to my wife when she was ordering a drink, cut her off to say he wasn’t ready to take her order, and the same thing happened with the birthday boy. James then told our party of 10, that because two of us had switched seats, he was unwilling to split the check between us. His demeanor was unkind and harsh. And as soon as I asked to speak to management he proceeded to tell me he was the manager, waiter and cook and we were gonna have to deal with him “hunny”,come to find out he is not the manager. Our whole party was baffled by the way he treated and talked to us. My wife and son weren’t ever served their food (ramen) in the time it took for our hibachi to cook and be served and ate. (James’ fault) It took 2 new waiters to resolve our billing and order issues. (They were great) Meiji you have got to do yourselves a favor and loose James. The attitude that he gave right off the jump was unlike anything we’d ever experienced. Don’t recommend coming here if James is waiting...

Extremely disappointing experience for Valentine’s Day. We made a reservation for 7pm and fully expected for there to be a longer wait time given the holiday, but did not expect to be there for over two and a half hours. We were sat at 7:20 and had our drink order taken. Our nonalcoholic drinks were brought fairly quickly, but the whole table’s drinks from the bar didn’t arrive until 45 minutes later. It took even longer for anyone to get soup and salad, which several didn’t get any at all. Our waitress was very unpleasant and could not care less about good service. People from the table had to go to the front just to ask for silverware and drink refills because the waitress just stopped coming by the table. Tables sat after us were eating before us. The chef finally came to the table after 8:30 just to get mediocre food and steak that was extremely tough. Not a single acknowledgement or apology from the waitress or any of the staff about the wait time and bad service. Everyone at the table immediately boxed up their food after it was ready and left right after getting the check. We used to really enjoy this restaurant, but we will definitely be finding a new hibachi place after...
