Store employee/Cashier had zero personality and was not the least bit engaging. I'm not a Panera customer, so I needed to look at the menu to decide what to get. There were no other customers in the store waiting to be served. The cashier seemed annoyed that she had to wait for me to decide what I wanted. As I was making my decision, my wife tried to engage the empolyee in conversation, ie: "How're you doing today?" The cashier didn't respond. When I placed my order, she said the item was sold out. She never raised her eyes to engage with us. She just stared at the register tapping on the screen with her fingernails. I asked for a chocolate croissant and a plain bagel toasted and buttered. As I ordered the bagel, I was cut off by the cashier. I felt I was being rushed. I repeated my toasted/buttered bagel order, after which the cashier told us we could wait by the other counter for our order. She walked away without giving me my receipt. I waited for another employee to come to the register to request and get my receipt. We took our food to go. When we got to our destination I found my bagel was not buttered. THANKS for the toasted dry bagel. The whole experience was awful. I felt rushed. It felt as though we were an inconvenience to the employee who had no personality and was not the least bit engaging/polite or attentive. She is in the wrong business. Read moreI just visited the brand new store in Milford CT. I drove thru and ordered a soba chicken noodle salad with peanut sauce. It's the first thing on the menu. The person taking the order argued it didn't come with peanut sauce when it clearly says it on their menu. She was very rude and refused to give peanut sauce and insisted it comes with an orange miso( that sounds gross). After arguing that it clearly says it on the menu she refused. I finally said can't you just give me it instead. She said sure....any not just do that instead of arguing I don't know. I then ordered a smoothie and coffee. I noticed a .50 charge for the peanut sauce. She didn't mention it's extra and it shouldn't be since its supposed to come with it. Clearly some shady thing is being done here. I cancelled my order and drove away. I checked online and the menu there says peanut sauce comes with that salad. I suggest Panera teach their employees to read the menu. Also even if you order a salad, you always should have the option to pick dressings. I don't know if it's just that store or every location but they will not do well with that kind of...

With that being said I went today to get my free order not sure who the other general manager she has black hair female very rude from the start working 1/30/2024 shift 2:49 pm . The replacement order of my chicken sandwich had no chicken in it she didn’t even apologize blamed me saying I order it without chicken my other order I placed separate same thing no chicken both receipts state chicken in my sandwiches she was not carrying nor apologized for the mistake they made. She blamed me told me I had to check my sandwich , you got to be kidding me !!! She didn’t bother to fix my sandwiches or to refund me for the inconvenience, people like this should find another job since they hate their job and customers so much ! Due to this they lost me as a customer and I won’t be returning to this Panera because of this manager .
