So many things went on with this transaction first was given a new phone and told to call a number to get it switched.. said no I would wait till get it switched and stopped the process.. I came back another day and had to get a new transfer pin.. so I drove to spectrum then received a call from Verizon gave them the pin and immediately switched my phone number so lost service⌠went back then they gave me a phone all was well but it wouldnât be credited to the store for phone manager had sales guy write the order manually.. next day Monday at work started calling me an my significant other at work saying I need to return phone to store I said I would after work hours let them know I was on way.. he said let me have your access pin and I may can fix it over the phone I trusted him and when I gave him the numbers boom phone service lost again.. when I got there he met me at the door snatched the phone up said nothing went over to manager set behind the desk and apparently made calls and text from my phone to make it look like I was purchasing the phone then so the store could be credited. I assume nothing was spoken I asked whatâs going on he said we are trying to fix it. I asked I said is there a problem no response then after 1 hour wait came with the phone said oh you have a scratch that I didnât see before and we canât return it but get your glass fixed.. oh and for your trouble you can have one of these select cases.. I said I already ordered one but you guys need to learn from your mistakes and be transparent.. I left next day I I get message on phone I signed up on Walmart plus I called and said what is this he said oh Verizon sales person put that on there I then noticed text on my phone that they did like I was getting the phone yesterday.. I said this now shady and I donât like it response was we fixed it I responded well seamed shady and he said well you would be charged 740$ on your first bill so we fixed it idk what they did but as I told him I would share my experience with corporate and a review so thatâs the story watch out for these guys they are a sub company that is all about $$ not doing the right thing and being honest and...
Read moreAs a long time AT&t customer I've decided to make the switch to Verizon. I drove to the Milford Parkway location just to see what they had to offer compared to some other carriers around town. Marc T. Met me at the door and introduced himself with a handshake. The atmosphere in the store was very calm and comfortable. It was also clean and organized. After speaking with Marc about what what my interests were and what I needed, I could tell he's certainly committed to his customers. He actually "wanted" to help. At this point I knew I was going to make the switch but I was thinking long term, how will Verizon treat me years to come? As our meeting progressed he answered every question, very knowledgeable and very well spoken. Needless to say he won me over to make the switch. But that wasn't until I knew how Verizon does business with there customers. Verizon seems to be on another level compared to other business alike. Dedicated professionals who are "there" for customer satisfaction. I do understand sales/retail. This is how they make a living. I never really felt obligated or pushed into any decisions. It's just the smaller things towards the end of our meeting like accessories for phones, that can be avoided to save money. I could find any accessories that work the same way for the fraction of the cost. They did get me on a tablet which is an additional 20$ monthly that I really didn't need but what the heck I try it out. If that isn't a good fit for me, I'll just call Marc and he'll take care of it. My overall experience with this particular Verizon...
Read moreAny time before the last 6 months this place would've gotten a higher rating. In March, my wife, dad, and I purchased new phones on a rebate. The deal was great and was the only reason I purchased a new phone. I paid my amount in full and so did my wife. 2 months later when they told us that "the bill will settle" i checked and was charged an additional $30 fee on my bill for the month. I tried to go to the store and a different location to get this sorted and the reps were condescending and treated me like less than human between the two locations. The store manager at this location is unwilling to explain the receipt and check back on prior promotions ran at the time of purchase. I feel like I have been scammed as they are going to charge me $600 over the next 32 months claiming that I didn't get a rebate when I paid off the phone in full after purchasing back in March. Do yourself a favor and avoid Verizon as a whole, the reps will scam you, talk down to you, and treat you like you are stupid. They will also overcharge you. I have not spoken to anyone that has Verizon and hasn't had billing issues and every time I have purchased a phone with Verizon the "deals" they offer never work on the first try. I would again suggest that you stay away from Verizon.
*EDIT: The number they commented below this review is their general support number which i have already tried to call woth no success. I have been running around in circles trying to get it figured out but they will not help me. Do not trust...
