As someone who's used to buying at dispensaries in other states, this was my first experience in an Ohio dispensary. I heard it was bad but I wanted to see for myself. Wow is it terrible in comparison to literally everywhere else. The staff wasn't friendly. They seemed inconvenienced by the existence of customers. No one there seemed happy to be there which is strange because I've been to 100+ dispensaries around the country and never felt like a burden until I showed up here. You don't really get to look at anything before you buy. The entire process feels very bland, removed and awkward. The "budtenders" are just there to show you stuff on an iPad, they don't introduce themselves or offer any help or knowledge other than navigating the iPad. They didn't even recommend a single product. Just here, browse this big list with very little info and pick something. You might as well order online because there's no real difference in experience if you don't. You'll just get in and out quicker. There are no deals for new customers, no freebies, no coupons, literally nothing to encourage sales other than a few "sale items" which were not priced well. The measurements in this state are the most ridiculous in the world. 2.83g?! 5.66g?! Leave it to Ohio to take a perfectly fine and established form of measurement and completely toss it out the window for something more confusing to consumers. Everything I saw on the menu was just overpriced and underwhelming products served in the most bland and boring ways possible. After this experience, I honestly never want to spend another penny on weed in Ohio ever again and I probably never will. I left feeling ripped off and unwanted as a customer, guess I'll spend this money where they actually care...

I love Uplift! They've been super friendly since the day I started coming here. The prices and sales are always good and I LOVE their last call sheet, it makes it super affordable for people like me to get medical marijuana. There's a couple people there that are always nice to me whenever I come in, even if I'm not being helped by them like Allan and James. I really appreciate the care you guys put in to this place. Danielle helped me today and gave me the professional run-down on edibles since I'm new to that world and was incredibly kind. I don't know the door guys name, but he is also super sweet. Appreciate all of you!!

Update: Still a great dispensary but since Rec went live they've definitely gone downhill in terms of service. The budtenders were changed out for whatever reason, so everyone was placed in back of house. Makes zero sense to me as a customer who formed bonds with the previous employees. They also used to inform when the last call sheet was up or not if I called in, but apparently they aren't allowed to tell customers anymore. This also makes no sense as a medical user who has to travel to the dispensary myself, wasting gas and money if they don't have a last call sheet that day. I think because of Rec being implemented they're being stricter, but they aren't caring about medical as much as...

You're kindly greeted with security for an id check before you get too far past the threshold. The friendly front desk staff gets you a coaster buzzer after processing your information. When your buzzer goes off, you're sent to The Inner Sanctum - it's like an MMJ Roadshow of products.

Hand over your buzzer and get down to selecting your goods! (On my most recent visit, my Budtender was Dustin. Aside from the nitty gritty of vape cartridges, he was easy to speak with and seemed to be extremely knowledgeable about the products.)

Now that you've completed your order, they'll provide you with a total. There's an ATM on site, but they also currently accept debit cards at the register. There is a $3.50 service fee.

In the back, they'll finish packing your order for you to review with your Budtender. If it all looks correct, they'll put it in a non-descript yet colorful bag. You pay, they hand you your products, and you walk out excited about the pain management utensils you just purchased!

Seriously, this is my favorite dispensary in our area. It's not far away, the staff is great and the selection is always amazing. Never had a bad experience. They truly do a great job!
