Cato Fashions — Local services in Millville

I shop at the Millville location often and it seems there is always an issue. After my last visit, I get it. The micro manager is the problem with this store. The eye rolls, the comments under her breath, not letting her employees do the job they were hired to do. I asked an employee to hold some things at the register while I tried something on and the manager was aware and still tried to put my items back on the racks. Not only was I annoyed but so was the employee. I was told I had to make a $6.00 payment (balance on my card) to my card before I could use it. My sale was suspended and I was moved to the "other" register to make a payment. Now I have been at checkout for 10 minutes. I make a payment and still have to wait because there are customers ahead of me who are being rung up by manager. I don't understand having 2 registers if you are only going to use one for checkouts. My items are in a bag and the manager starts putting another customers items in my bag and then getting frazzled when she is told what she is doing. At this point I have been at checkout for 20 minutes. You had to be there to witness the mess. I have worked in retail and have managed stores and I will not be visiting this store again. Store is clean and has beautiful clothes. However, I recently drove 40 minutes to return a few items and when I arrived, they had no power to the phone or register - which the employee told me is a common occurrence. After she made another phone call (from her cell) she agreed to give me a cash refund (I paid via credit card) and although I had my receipt and the clothes were all unworn with the original tags still on them (just bought a week ago) I was forced to provide all of my personal information just to get my refund. Funny how they don't take all of your personal information when they TAKE your money, only when you want it back! Then I see 2 items I bought now on sale $5 cheaper. She refused to refund the difference and said that is a store policy. Well, after dealing with all the hassle, the refund policy, and her attitude, I'll find someplace...

This place has some nice plus size and regular clothes. I love this place! Something for the adults and nice things dress it up or down they have it! Clean store pleasant...
