Il Bosco — Local services in Milwaukee

I love Il Bosco! First of all, the owner, Christa, is really really kind. I had a giftcard issue that was my fault and she helped me out which was so nice of her. She also is not one of those shop owners who will follow you around and try to get you to buy everything, however she will offer you a ton of great advice if you need it. Everything in the shop is very special and unique, and you can tell the items are carefully chosen for the store. You won't find other stores with the items she has. There is also a good range of prices, some things are defintely more expensive but there are a lot of affordable items as well. This is the coolest shop - nicest owner! She really bent over backwards to help us. We loved it so much we took our daughter back and she found a handbag she loved & bought and a list of other items to go back for!! Maybe a bit dangerous for those of you that love to find unique items by artists, locals, and nature lovers - lots of unique treasures here! If you are waiting to be seated at a local hotspot nearby (Toast is our favorite a couple of doors down😉), make sure you pop into this store. As a former boutique owner I can say that Il Bosco provides an excellent shopping experience. It's a great boutique with a variety of unique items that are well curated for the space. The store's ambiance and environment gives you a fully encompassing shopping atmosphere.

Lastly, my wife, mother-in-law, daughter and I were unsuccessful in getting a restaurant reservation in the area. The owner overheard our conundrum and offered to get us a reservation at Stack'd Burger near by. He called the GM of Stack'd burger and when we arrived were immediately greeted, sat and given 20% off our meal.
