We went there for my son's 30th birthday. It was an amazing experience. Ana C. was our server and was wonderful. She was always on top of things. She seemed to be aware of our needs before we even made a request. She's very professional, yet friendly. She answered any questions we had regarding menu choices and provided recommendations, which we really appreciated. We ordered Veggie Spring Rolls (came with 4 large rolls) for our appetizer which were amazing. For our meal, my son and daughter both had sushi and were very happy with their choices (Black Angus Shroom Boom, Soldout and Spiderman). There were 8 rolls with each sushi order. I had Chicken Katsu as I'm not fond of sushi and it was delicious. The portion size was plentiful and the presentation of our food was beautiful! Since it was my son's birthday, Ana gave him a birthday dessert board which was beautiful and delicious as well! The view is perfect with full length windows right near the river. We will definitely return to Screaming Tuna and ask for Ana.

We had a 7:30 reservation to celebrate a birthday, and the hosts and server were incredibly hospitable and nice. The food and drinks were fantastic, including the several rolls recommended by the server. We had called ahead about bringing in an outside dessert due to a dietary restriction, and they advised us that we were not only allowed to bring it in, but that they would store it for us and even cut it for us! When it came time for dessert, we advised our server of the dessert that the hosts had stored for us in their fridge, and he not only cut it for us but also presented it on a platter with gorgeous handwriting and design on a platter saying Happy Birthday in a raspberry sauce. This was above and beyond all of our expectations! Our server was one of the best servers we have ever had at any restaurant and hope he is our server next time we dine in.

Screaming Tuna is an absolute gem in Milwaukee’s Third Ward, and its river adjacent location only adds to the experience. This place is a dream for sushi lovers! We kicked things off with appetizers, sampling the Crab Chipotle Wontons and Gyoza, both of which were delicious. For the main course, we had the Black Angus Shroom Boom and Screaming Tuna Signature Roll—both were outstanding, packed with flavor, and artfully prepared. The cocktail menu was just as impressive; we especially loved the Pine After The Hunter, a creative and refreshing drink that paired perfectly with our meal. By the time we left, the restaurant was buzzing with diners. Great food, drinks, and a lively atmosphere make Screaming Tuna a top recommendation for any sushi fan. Don’t miss it!

If you're looking for some great sushi and a wonderful view, then this is the place for you. Lots of great roll selections and seafood options. For being a little more of high end place, it's still pretty affordable, even I don't break the bank here. The food is always very fresh and is always set up beautifully. The selection is what you'd expect from a sushi place with a few differences here and there, but the quality is high above others. This is for sure a great date spot, just in case you want to impress someone. They also have a great lunch menu, which is the bento box i have pictured in this review. Although my service kind of sucked the last time I was there, that still didn't take away from the view of the river and the fantastic food.

We've been here a couple times when sushi is calling to us! If going on a Friday or Saturday afternoon/night, definitely recommend a reservation, otherwise most of the time they are pretty accommodating! We try to sit outside when possible for great views of the Milwaukee skyline and river-watching. Our usual is miso soup, a couple rolls of sushi, and a cocktail or two. This last visit we enjoyed a bottle of wine instead of the cocktails. The miso soup doesn't have a whole lot of miso flavor in comparison to other area restaurants, but still good and filled with lots of wakame and mushrooms. We also enjoyed a spicy tuna roll, pepper salmon roll, screaming tuna signature, and a black angus shroom boom roll. All so good! We will be back again!

This is a gorgeous location with significant patio seating by the river. Weather permitting, you’re missing out by not eating outside. The interior is also appealingly designed. The cocktails were excellent; they presented a unique take on classic cocktails. We loved the 3 cocktails we tried. We didn’t try the appetizers because we wanted to save room for the sushi. We enjoyed the variety of rolls that we ordered. I thought the octopus was a little chewy, but the others in the party thought it was good. Altogether, this is one of the better spots in Milwaukee to get your sushi fix. I don’t think their fish is as good or their presentation is as flashy as some other places in the area. But, I’d be very comfortable heading here again.
