I had a terrible experience here that required me to find a new wedding dress within three weeks of my wedding. I would not recommend this shop to anyone. I went into White Off the Rack with photos of a dress that I fell in love with at another store. They said they could order me a new dress in that style and I said yes. When the dress arrived and I went to try it on and pick it up, it was HUGE. I could take handfuls of lace on the sides that would need to be removed. I expressed concern to the stylist about how large it was and she said “alterations can work wonders and will be able to fix it.” I trusted her and took the dress home. I went to alterations and spent $1,000 on just alterations trying to get it to fit. At the end of all of this, the integrity of the dress was ruined because alterations couldn’t get it to the correct size. I ended up going to the original store that I found my dress at and they sold me a sample so I would have something to wear on my wedding day. I wrote to White Off The Rack and described my horrible scenario that I went through at the store. The owner called me and said “I wish you would have said something before alterations because we could have taken the dress back.” I did say when I picked up the dress that I was not happy and it was huge. They said to get alterations done anyways! Honestly I feel like I was duped. I spend $3,000 total on this dress that I can’t wear and the only thing that the owner suggested is that I try to resell it. I told them that I was not happy with the fit and they told me to get alterations done. Once alterations are done they can’t take it back. I do not recommend this store to anyone. I spend $2,000 on the gown and $1,000 on alterations and they are not compensating me at all. They should have agreed that the size was too big when I did my try on and not told me to get alterations. I feel that was their way out so they could wash their hands of me and say I altered the dress so they can’t...

I had a wonderful experience picking out my wedding gown at White Dress Off the Rack! Emily provided flawless communication and graciousness from the day I scheduled the appointment until the moment I walked out the door with the dress! She listened closely when I described what I was looking for and picked the dresses that ended up being my top two contenders right away while my mother and I perused the racks. When I decided on a dress and described the kind of veil I wanted, she produced exactly what I described in about two seconds and the veil was absolutely magical! She was so helpful and super supportive and all-around lovely!

The boutique itself is chic but inviting. The dresses were stunning! I was the only bride in at the time and the intimacy was meaningful in a way I hadn't anticipated. Even when I called back later that day to officially say yes, Emily made sure to find a time I could come in between other appointments to try the dress on again and savor the moment!

First of all, this spot is cute as heck! I loved the atmosphere as soon as I walked in with my 2 girlfriends and we were instantly greeted by Emily while she was helping another bride, which made us feel welcome right away. Emily was amazing in every way during my appointment. She helped me identify the parts of the store for dresses and after discussing what I was lookin for she also pulled some dresses for me while my girls and I browsed and ooh’d and ahh’d over styles for me to try that we found. Emily was incredibly helpful in the dressing room and her explanation of alteration options that would be available on dresses I liked was super insightful since I had no idea. As we tried on dresses and I narrowed in the styles I was leaning towards she was helpful with choosing the dresses already in the room and then asked me how I felt about trying something out of the norm for most brides and I swear it was like she’d known me prior based on the dress she pulled off the rack after I said “heck yes”. Looking at the dress on the hanger I honestly wasn’t quite sure what to make of it but when she helped me in it and I saw how it looked on it was like everything clicked.
