Aurora — Local services in Minneapolis

Session started great-nice sauna, pleasant body scrab and massage with Grace in relaxing clam room. But then a nightmare start. Rohanna was wearing a mask behind the desk but enter room already without her mask .she is smoker, it wasn't fun to fell her breath. I asked her twice to wear a mask. IN now day thought COVID sotuation Everyone aware already that COVID spread by anyone without mask. (Vaccinated spread it more often probably because they often don't feel that they getting virus) So Her answer"Im vacvinated" sounds at least ridiculous for everyone who able to read newspapers. Finaly she put her mask on... and left her nose out! But let's consider it is just lock of education and selfishness. Let's talk about jer professionalism ( beside ignoring clients wishes and Remember to appoologize) I'm not sure if she ever learn facials.Maybe she is good for cellulite but certainly not for facial! She was asking me what I want and I request gentle relaxing facial with no torchures She turn steamer on and start...extractions!! After reminding that I want RELAXING massage she start massage. Well.. I hope I would never feel and see it again.I got my first aesthetician diploma in 1996. During all those years I never see more torture -she did massage on my neck and decollette with fist! But culmination was- she did it in repetitive motion 104!!times in a row! Same struck-104 times! I start counting after 10-12 times because it is a rule in aesthetique-do not touch same area more that 5 times in a raw.. after 87times I finally tell her it is already painful. She moved to my chin but after 30 sec her fist moved back to my neck again and do the same motion!! I have to run from this room and ask for manager.. unfortumately She was a manager! I Attached pics -it is 7 hours later! I still have redness and pain in this area... I hope readers came to their own conclusions.. and I hope this spa would not block my review and that will safe another people from this kind...

We held a bachelorette party at Aurora Spa (a Spa-chelorette). Their private room was perfect for our spa party of 8! The fact that they have a private space for group spa parties is a bonus, as it allowed our group to have some down time together in between services and not have to worry about disturbing other guests. The space is cosy and full of comfortable couches, with sliding doors to close off the space, if needed. There was room to put out food and beverages (brought in by us), as well as lay out some games for the party (the staff was super helpful providing a few extra supplies for our games). Nail services were available just to the side of our space, so folks could still enjoy the conversation while getting their nails done. The private massage rooms were quiet and calming. The nail technician and two massage therapists were superb.

Prior to the event, Rohanna was fairly responsive to any questions we had and was great when asked questions that needed clarifying. The one time there was a lag in response, she was gracious enough to let us know that there had been a family emergency and picked up right where we left off. When reviewing the potential services we were looking at, Rohanna was honest about the staff they'd be able to have on hand to accommodate and was willing to work with us with a neighboring salon to get all services should we have chosen to do so.

Overall, the day was a great balance of massage and nail services, relaxation, and conversation with the bride and friends. We highly recommend Aurora Spa for a private...

We recently hosted my bachelorette party at Aurora Spa. The experience was ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE. I cannot say enough good things about Rohanna and the team. Firstly, Rohanna was extremely communicative with us leading up to the day of. We had 20+ attendees, and all of us were able to select any treatment, ranging from pedicures to 3 hour packages! Rohanna coordinated with us and her staff to develop a treatment schedule and ensure that our attendees could enjoy the treatment they selected. We had a space in the spa for us to gather -- the staff set up tables and even helped us carry in the food and beverages. We were able to hang out in the space and laugh and enjoy each others company, while the staff was there to help with whatever we needed. The treatments were AMAZING and everyone felt so relaxed and pampered, while still enjoying each others company. Literally every detail was executed to perfection; the timeline, the services, the hospitality of the team. I highly, highly recommend partnering with Rohanna to host a spa day or even just popping into Aurora for an individual spa service as it is reasonably priced for an AMAZING experience. My friends and family want to make this an annual event!!!!
