Community Emergency Service — Local services in Minneapolis

Today was the SECOND TIME I was turned down for services when I arrived a half hour before they were scheduled to close. I traveled all the way from St. Paul because this place has always treated me well in the past. Sad to have to give such a low rating but after the way I was treated today I would like to leave ZERO ⭐ s. I asked nicely wasn't there anything that could be done? But was rudely told they were closed. The posted closing time is 4pm it was only 3:30.. Still feeling a little stunned by the the manner of which (or rather the lack there of!) Staff and Volunteers that run the food shelf are very nice and helpful. There have been about 40-50 people there each time i visited. Bonus Fridays are chaotic wnd nlltheree jot wlways enough "freebies"...

If you make it at decent time you'll get in. Nobody harassing me for anything. Don't need ID. Other services references. Get to sit indoors instead of standing in...
