About a year ago a friend of mine went to Thomas Joseph & Sons and took me with her just to look as she was upgrading her wedding set. The customer service was absolutely excellent no pressure, they provided education, and supported the fact that I was thinking of starting out with a cubic zirconia instead of a diamond because of the expense. Any other place I had gone the sales people had pressed me to choose a diamond. I encouraged my then boyfriend to go there if/when the time came. Well recently we got engaged and he told me all about how they were so nice and so patient with him. He had a ring custom made a designed for me and walked him through every step of the way. The sales woman even called to let him know after the ring was made that she had estimated the ring higher than what it did cost so they were reducing the cost by $500. They never bothered him to pay right away they let him pay when he had the money and now after a year it's absolutely perfect. I will be coming back to design my fiance's wedding band and will be eventually buying my diamond there as well. They strive to be your jewelry shop for life not just for your engagement ring. Mike Jr. was excellent with us, listening for what we wanted in an engagement ring and making note of how my now-fiancee reacted to the various options. He offered extremely helpful perspectives, offering expertise and insights while still letting us freely choose without a hint of pressure. I cannot say enough about Thomas Joseph and Sons. I worked with Richard to design a beautiful and totally unique engagement ring. I've subsequently bought two necklaces from them. In each case, I was truly impressed with the level of service and attention to detail. At the time, the engagement ring was the single largest purchase I'd ever made, I was nervous, and needed to "get it right." Richard was always helpful, available, and knowledgeable. He assisted me at ever turn, from selecting stones, to designing the setting, to having models and renderings made. I never felt like he was trying to "up sell" me, or play games with prices.
