My kiddos, now ages 14 and 16, attended classes here for years and loved it. For my youngest, the training she received instilled a sense of respect and discipline in her; and for my other kiddo, we saw improved confidence, assertiveness, and incredible progress in flexibility and agility--and then went on to earn a Black Belt about four years later, with the patience and rigorous training from the instructors, and the guidance of a kind peer who'd already earned his black belt. Further, the school offers additional opportunities--such as tournament participation and leadership training--to students who have earned these things by following the principles taught in every class. And that's the big thing: this school is not a "belt mill." They don't take your money and hand out new belts every few months. Every belt requires a minimum number of classes, exceptional dedication to learning, and approval from parents and school to ensure the students are adhering to martial arts creeds (respect, discipline, kindness, etc.) outside of the classroom walls. In other words, to advance, the students must work hard, but on that journey they get amazing support from the Kempka family, Mr. Buckley, the rest of the staff, and the student volunteers who help out. Read moreI can’t say more positive things about this martial arts studio. The don't just teach that- they teach discipline, respect, and a whole host of other qualities needed throughout life. We have moved to a place that is a bit to far to take lessons. My son has taken up swimming but he has taken the lessons he learned from Master Kempka and is running with them! This is a great place to build good habits, structure and respect for authority. As a single mom and full time nurse- I can only encourage you to give this place a try. My son has very fond memories and so do I. 10/10.
Years ago—We went to Premier seeking fun exercise and discipline - we were not disappointed. My son enjoys the classes and likes all of his teachers. Mr. Buckley however is truly gifted at what he does. He can speak to children in a way that is kind, loving and gentle while at the same time demands attention, compliance and respect. My son has undoubtedly benefited from the classes and the example that Mr. Buckley has set forth. It has been a truly positive experience. They have classes for all ages...

My daughter Leonora is in the class that perform in Queens grant school.
Yesterday was the last day for the martial arts program, while the class is going, Leonora’s asked couch Rebecca to used the bathroom; She answered her to wait. And Leonora could not hold it any longer and she did it on herself.
I am so mad that she did not send her with one of the helper to use the bathroom.
Rebecca don’t care about the need of my daughter.
