Are you really going to ask that. How are the beaches in Destin Florida huh? Well what was it like the first time you seen the Mona Lisa or the Cathedral and the Paintings of Michelangelo on the ceilings?! Or if you've never done that in your reading this how about what was it like the first time you had ice cream that wasn't vanilla or chocolate?! What it's like is if you go to any other Beach or Shore in the world and it doesn't have white baby powder texture and color you're going to turn around and leave because most likely the water isn't blue and turquoise either. Send the sun when it sets off of those colors gives you the prettiest pinks and tangerine and pomegranate type colors that you don't get in other places. It's like you can be at the ocean and say Daytona and it looks nice and all and it was fun and all but it wasn't Destin! Because it's called. The Emerald Coast for a reason! There's colors and textures and people different from other places yes familiar because pretty much everybody here is from other places LOL. It's home even though you've never been here or where you want to put your home if you could move or where you are definitely going to make your home when you retire if you can. We stayed at a condo in Maravilla with Destin Fl rentals the week after Thanksgiving. We were very happy with the entire rental process through Becki. She's great!! The condo was perfect for us because it was on the ground floor. It made things so much easier with my senior Mother, our dogs and moving in and out for the week. The condo was clean and felt spacious for a two bedroom condo. We've returned many times to Maravilla for it's location right across from the beach, amenities and because it's truly dog friendly. NOT a dog-friendly place. Dogs are not allowed on the beaches here or on Okaloosa Island. There are so many houses and multistory buildings that block the views of the water for everyone else. The dog parks were unkempt and in disrepair. My husband witnessed 3 separate drug exchanges. Just not some place I would care to...
