White House Black Market — Local services in Miramar Beach

We live here locally and I wanted to purchase some items for our trip to Cayman Islands in March. We walked on the beach so I had a matching multicolored fitness outfit on and I was with my oldest daughter. There was two women working. The one behind the counter was on her phone. The older lady was organizing racks. We walked in she looked me up and down and said, “oh aren’t you colorful”. It did not come off as a compliment it actually came off snarky and demeaning. This woman had to be well over 70 years old and old enough to be my grandmother or of course mother. I snapped back at her and said, “was that supposed to be a compliment or insult”? She looked shocked at my reply and smirked, “oh you look nice”. I dissect this as she old and grumpy that she is still working and knocking on 80. Here I am retired military 26 years. My husband was shocked I continued to shop there and out of all stores I spent the most here. This lady doesn’t need to work in customer service if she is going to insult customers. What she said wasn’t a compliment, and my daughter who is 26 even stated how she said it was very rude and demeaning. She doesn’t know me and she definitely wasn’t going to talk to me any...

The young lady that works here was extremely rude.

My wife recently lost weight and wanted to go dress shopping while on vacation in Florida. They only had a few dresses in her size. She did not like them and rather than recommending another store in the outlet mall or saying sorry we don't have any dresses in your size she said we should try Ross, or Goodwill down the street. We left.

My wife was in tears as soon we got away from the store.

Terrible people. Never going to Destin Outlets or Destin itself ever again. That town is filled we self righteous snobs who worry more about getting the latest Mercedes than being good people.

Nice store and fine deals. One lady super attentive and kind. When I left the dressing room without purchasing anything because what I tried on didn’t look as great as I’d hoped on, the other lady, blonde, ponytail, said “nothing?” And scoffed and walked away when I smiled and told her everything fit strange. She also looked me up and down when I walked in. I’m a local (not that it matters) that usually goes to the other location but wanted to check this out....
