Missoula Farmers' Market — Local services in Missoula

I live in St. Louis, where we have the Soulard Farmer's Market. It's not really a fair comparison because of the way that things are structured, but when it comes right down to it, this one absolutely blows the one in St. Louis right out of the water. The quality of the produce, the sheer variety, the friendliness of the people (sorry but St. Louis is NOT a friendly place...) The Missoula Markets, yes there are three separate market areas that I lump together and call them The Missoula Markets. They are always worth a visit. You can find everything there from fresh garden vegetables to home made jewelery. I couldn't even list everything you can buy there. The buxters on the corners and intermingled in the markets add an enjoyable background music to the bustle of voices. Every food vendor is worth a try. They all have top quality...

Finally got down to the MFM and low and behold there's plenty of Huck's left, all price-fixed of course, Dixon melons, plenty of garden vegetables, bakery goods and friendly people. We engaged one young man selling Huck's to learn he's the youngest of 7 siblings all who've grown up picking Huck's. He's about to grad UM Mechanical Engineering and move on.
