I came in on January 17th to get a phone reprogrammed for my son for his birthday. After finding out it was too old, Joey was great help in finding a new one and said he would get it ordered. When asked how long it would take to come, he said 3-4 days,depending on the weather. So he thought the following Wednesday or Thursday. Well, the next Thursday came around, and I called the store at lunch cuz no one had called me. When I asked if my phone came in, they said it had, so I let them know I would be in the following day to grab it. When I went on Friday (January 25th), chad( I believe) went to look for it. It was then I was informed they had set it aside for me, BUT then gave it to some one else who had google locked their phone. So no phone call, no nothing letting me know this was done. I drove home to plank and back to Mitchell (40 miles), with my son, to get this phone for his birthday. Only to find out the phone was no longer there! I proceeded to ask how long we would have to wait. The answer, another few days ( monday or Tuesday). At one point when I told chad when I had ordered it and it wasn't there- the look he gave me was one that said " really? It should have been there." It wasnt until Tuesday (the 29th) that the phone finally came in!!. And, when I went to get the phone, the employees started talking about it and Joey was laughing with a response, "at least the phone is here". Through out this week and a 1/2, almost 2, there was no call to say hey its gonna be late or apology that it didn't come in when he said it would come in. This was supposed to be a birthday present for my boy, who thought it was coming a week ago! An apology or a simple phone call would have curbed this whole thing, but I do believe this is the second time this has happened! So, as much as Joey is great at upfront customer service, the follow through seems to fall short. Read moreHad the opportunity to work with Devin and new trainee McKenzie Patton. Ive always had good service at this location by all THE Employees but this trip was well worth noting. First and foremost one of the best experiences I've had at a Verizon location. Both individuals did a phenomenal job explaining the plans, programs, features, and additional accessories available. Mckenzie hit it out of the park detailing the plans especially being a new team member. When it comes to cellphones and services, it really comes down to the level of customer service and attention you receive as a customer coming to the location. Without a doubt those two individuals are stellar and deserve recognition for their efforts and the work they did to provide me the information I needed to make the purchases and additional purchases after the sale. Verizon and Be Mobile are very fortunate having both of those individuals on their team and hope that they do receive recognition for the level of service they provided to me today. Good quality individuals are hard to come by and easy to be recruited to go elsewhere. Keep up the good work both of you!!! All but one visit was handled by Devin who had the pleasure 😉 once again today to deal with me when purchasing a new phone. My S20 FE had a stroke last night and there wasn't much life left in it to work with this morning but Devin dug deep into his "skills bag" and was able to get much of my data off the old phone and onto the new one.
