Festival Centre — Local services in Mobile

This year again it's another place where I would love to go I absolutely love academy I absolutely love to go in even if I don't buy anything I like to go through their their clearance stuff I love their clearance shoes but be that as it may I'm assuming that academy has policies against people just going in there and looking at items and you know not purchasing stuff because I literally had a member of management if that's what you want to describe this person is literally follow me around the entire time that I was in the store and I'm not talking about you know 1015 ft away I'm talking about literally about 2 ft away from me in my personal space she was so close to me that I turn around and ask her is there an issue what what is the problem you know why are you following me and she said I'm just here to offer customer service I said I don't need customer service I'm sure that there are plenty other customers in here that can use you other than me if I need help I'll make sure to ask for it she proceeded to steal follow me in and make me feel so uncomfortable that I lost my my temper if I'm not going to I'm not going to sugarcoat it I...

I took my coworker here for lunch. It was my first time there.

Staff was friendly and they had a huge selection of the normal Asian food staples. They were all delicious and we ate way too much!

They have plenty of seating and the servers ensured we had our plates cleared and drinks refilled. Plus, I have never gone to a Chinese food buffet where they provide you with a knife, but if you ask, you shall receive!

They did have a variety of desserts and ice cream too (my kids will love that).

I was actually amazed that I work less than 5 miles from this place and have never gone before. I will be coming back.

If I HAD to pick a downside it would have to be the price. It was $28.00 for both of us during LUNCH! That's the most expensive Chinese food I've ever had for lunch. Although it was delicious and I didn't feel like I was ripped off, it was a bit expensive.

Although nowhere near as Festive as the name implies - the Festival Centre is more of a large stretch of asphalt surrounded by various stores that are both opened and closed - timing is critical in an area such as this - so bring a watch or smartphone. Or you can just sit around the buildings and wait and hopefully you’ll get lucky - then again, occasionally people get arrested for such things…so, better stick with that timing thing. Unless of course you like jail. Hmmm, who knows maybe jail is your idea of a Festival - I’ve heard jail house hooch does...
