I JUST UPDATED MY REVIEW FROM 5 STARS TO WISHING IT WAS NO STARS… TODAY AS I WALKED IN I FELT NO LOVE AT ALL IT WAS LIKE I WAS AN INCONVENIENCE TO THE EMPLOYEE I WAS NEVER GREETED NO WARM SMILE NO NOTHING MY TWO YEAR OLD DAUGHTER EVEN TRIED SPEAKING TO THE EMPLOYEE SHE DIDNT PART HER LIPS BUT AS SOON AS A WOMAN IM GUESSING TO HER LIKING COME IN SHE SPOKE AND ASKED HER DID SHE NEED ANY HELP SHE FOLLOWED ME AROUND THE STORE DURING HALF OF MY STAY. I REALLY DIDNT CARE BECAUSE I AM ON A MISSION TO MAKE MY GREAT AUNT’S 75TH BIRTHDAY THE BEST ONE!!! AND THEN ONCE WE GOT TO THE FRONT I WASNT DONE WITH GETTING MORE ITEMS BEFORE THE EMPLOYEE STARTED RINGING UP MY 2 Y/O DAUGHTERS ITEMS 🤯 😡 SHE WATCHED ME RING UP ALL OF MY ITEMS AND SHE WATCHED ME GO INTO MY PURSE 🤦🏾‍♀️ THIS WAS THE WORST EXPERIENCE IVE HAD WITH POPSHELF!!! Omg, this place has so much stuff that is so cute for decor, a lot of art supplies, school supplies. Has a pet care section. Beauty Supplies: makeup from Maybelline, E.LF. NYX, Essie Nail polish, nail kits by KISS. Has a skin care section with a lot of tried and true products like Neutrogena, Noxema, Clean & Clear, face masks. Has scented candles, some shelf stable food & drinks. Has throw pillows, blankets, dishes, cups. Has cleaning supplies from big brands from Unilever & Proctor & Gamble. Tide, Clorox, Lysol, Swiffer, etc. a good place to shop to avoid the headache that big box stores give me. Not crowded, very neat & clean, decent parking. Only gave four stars because I was looking for oven cleaner and it was not carried here. The new pOpshelf stores in Mobile, Alabama is awesome! The pOpshelf on Dawes Road has a little bit of almost everything. The store is a mix of Party City, Hobby Lobby, and Bed Bad and Beyond. It's also a bit like Dollar General since they have a selection of frozen foods, canned goods, and snacks. It's a fun store full of decorative items, health and beauty, and lots of items for party planning. Great selection of helium balloons for birthday parties and other celebrations. The prices are really low for what you get. Most items cost less than $5.00. The store has a great look: It's trendy, well-lit, super clean, and it looks really organized.
