So I had seen there's a lot of good reviews about feast buffet.
I think they may have been talking about a different restaurant.
I had come in with high expectations that the food was going to be delicious, the staff even more friendlier than other places.
Sure the atmosphere looks like it's festive and even still got the colorful flags out and the hanging lanterns from the day they still opened.
The food however was a major disappointment. Not very much a variety. I've been to other buffets that were actually cheaper with higher quality food and a much greater selection.
And the flavors just kept running together. They were either weren't pronounced on some or just so salty even the couple of the desserts tasted just like salt.
The staff are not necessarily that friendly either. The gal that checked me in looked like she could care less in the world, was not friendly really.
And the weirdest thing. I got in a refill when I was away from the table so I didn't see how it was refilled, speaking for my water. So I come back and I'm sitting down enjoying my dinner, and then the girl asks if I want some more water. I tell the sure so she goes against more water. She comes back with another drinking glass that looks like it's half empty and pours it into mine I would rather go thirsty than drink any water from there.
Unfortunately this was a waste of my time and I did not think I will be going back.
PS. If you still intend on going here be wary. There are signs all over saying that you must tip the servers. Literally signs taped to every table saying please tip server please tip server. It's like they automatically just expect you or want you to tip them. You're not going to get a tip from me if the service is...
Read moreWe went there last night, we almost didn't because of the bad reviews but we decided to take a chance anyway. I don't understand why all the bad reviews. The food was hot and delicious! The sushi was WONDERFUL! The only thing I didn't like was that they had no general tso's chicken which is my favorite but so what? They had other yummy stuff so that didn't matter so much. I saw where one review said noone hardly speaks English there. The hostess and the girl at the register are clearly American and both were very nice and welcoming and obviously speak English and our waiter also spoke decent English, we never had to wait for drink refills and our dirty plates never sat on our table for more than a couple of seconds! We had a great experience there and will most definitely be back!!! Oh and they also had pizza, fried fish, wings, things like that to please kids and other picky eaters. And I'd also like to add that I didn't see any signs about tipping the servers (saw something about this in another review) but I don't really pay attention to things like that so I'm not saying they weren't there, I just didn't notice them, if you have a problem with tipping your server then maybe you shouldn't...
Read moreI'm usually pleased with this location, which is why my wife and I frequently go there for take out. My complaint today was the pot stickers were hard, dry and there was only a choice of vegetable egg rolls. The rest of my selections were great. I still think that when you pay over $30 for a take out meal, with one plate a person, you should be given a canned drink. I'm a manager in food service, Chick Fila, and I'm overall satisfied with this establishment, although their desserts could be better. Looks like you opened multiple boxes of genetic Swiss cake rolls, generic cream puffs, a watermelon, some jello, etc. I like sweet's, although sweets don't usually go with Chinese food, not something I'm looking for when in a Chinese restaurant. Maybe try homemade or store bought cakes and pies, cut in small pieces, and sell. Like key lime pie, walnut banana nut muffins, ice cream with toppings. Strawberry shortcake fixings without the ice cream, pound cake, fresh strawberries, whipped cream, nuts, caramel. This location is not destitute, but could be better. Mostly, if you spend $12-15 takeout, offer someone a canned drink. Otherwise, I would have left a $3-5 tip. And for what? I did...
