Yummi Crab Mobile — Restaurant in Mobile

Horrible service, food was good. Crawfish was small, and barely seasoned. Gratuity is forced at 18% for a party of 8 on each receipt of everyone at the table. (Teenagers and minors)Took my daughter here for her birthday and her uncle showed up to celebrate with us. He didn’t feel that it was fair to us or himself to be forced to pay 18% each and requested the manager. He notified the manager that it was our 1st time there and we have never been anywhere that you were forced to pay 18% each. We received a receipt that allowed you to select a custom amount and was stopped by the manager, who said you don’t check custom amount on the receipt. You are paying the 18% regardless. Most managers would apologize for any inconvenience, make things right and accepted the tip that we were willing to leave which was 10% versus 18%. He proceeded to say that he wasn’t accepting that and called the police. Our experience was jaw dropping til other guest in the restaurant stepped in and agreed with us. It was the worst service received and on my daughter birthday. He was very arrogant and took things personally instead of professionally. Please think twice before dining here with 8 ppl or more. Ridiculously ran by this manager. Attend when under new management. We watched him shower another group of people with free deserts that he knew and we had to beck for attention to ask for...

Tried this place when they first opened, and I didn't like it. Fiery was too packed so I said OK I will give it another try. Was quickly reminded why I have never been back, and this is my absolutely last time there. So, first thing I get put on a list and told the wait is 15 mins and I will be texted, 1 hour past and no text, go back to host and they don't seem to know what's going on, ok everybody struggling with staff right now no problem. I wait another 15 mins then seated. Order a drink, the bar is very skimpy, and they don't have the stuff to make the drink, ok everybody having a hard time getting supplies. Ordered appetizer, weekend special and a sweet tea. Get the sweet tea no ice, the appetizer and seafood came out at the same time about 40 mins later. Everything was skimpy, the weekend special is supposed to be 1/2-pound shrimps I had 10 shrimps, 2 bite size potatoes 1 lobster, 1 snow crab and 1 corn. I am pescatarian so all I eat is seafood and nothing tasted good but the corn, oh and I ate 6 of the 10 shrimps. I came in one night for dinner and was the only person in the establishment(should have known). The workers were chilling at the bar and my server forgot about me 3 times. Even the bartender/shift lead had to remind him numerous times. I got my food literally 4 minutes after ordering and became very sick INSTANTLY after eating some of the food… I spoke with a shift lead/bartender and she was very understanding but needed approval for my refund. The owner came out and was very rude and adamant about not fulfilling my request. He told me that “us people” always eat the food then want a refund. “Hence the eating the food then wanting a refund…” I discussed the customer service I experienced with them as well. He had no remorse and became even more rude. And told me to call my bank because he was not going to pay me for anything. It was my first time in the city and I didn’t know where to go. I googled and Yummi came up. After the fact is when everyone told me their (Yummi’s)history in food service and customer service.
