I had the worst, low key racist shopping experience ever today in the Mobile store. I’m not surprised but I’m extremely disappointed especially because management finished pouring the gas on the fire. I decided to take a $154 loss on material over buying more product to complete my project. I’ll start from scratch somewhere else.

Re: Lying is usually what they do next……my receipt clearly shows that I purchased 6 foot goods. The next receipt shows that eventually I was refunded for 6 foot goods. Yes, the store price sticker was wrong but I corrected the cashier during my purchase and the beginning of the refund. The manufacturers stock label clearly showed the correct size. Now with all that being said, why did it take a cashier, a supervisor and a rude manager to complete my return, then 2 more rude managers try to put me out the store. Why was I told at the beginning of the transaction if no one remembered me from yesterday that she couldn’t help me???? Why did my return warrant all that? I told the cashier the sticker was wrong…...I bought a 6 foot not 8 foot. We all know why…… No one ever apologized to me in the store. All they would say is they are doing their job,which should have been easy because I TOLD YOU! For 10 minutes or better I waited while yall searched for something dishonest about my transaction.

I love this place! I'm amazed that it's described as a 'door supplier'; although there are many and varied doors for sale here, at ridiculously low prices, this place is surely a mecca for anyone wanting any refurb items that are not just well-priced, but that are of a quality and design not usually seen in the usual 'box' DIY stores. Flooring here is beautiful, and I renovated almost my entire house floors from products found here - I used the Spanish Melamine clip-together 4' x 1' stuff - it's been down 5 years now and still looks like brand new - not a single scuff or scratch! Rugs and carpets! Wow! Prices, again are amazing, and the choice of rugs from throw-size to full-room size will blow your mind! Kitchen cabinets in oak - silly prices!! Hand beaten copper bath tubs and wash-hand basins stand beside hand-painted bathroom ceramics; solid wood furniture so original you would think it hand-made just for you! This is a place to visit and enjoy - give yourself plenty of time - you will want to peer and poke and price so many things your head will reel! In short "a home-owner's re-furb paradise" would be a more apt description of Southeastern Salvage! Oh! and I don't work...

Got to line with my one item and Sharzia had no one in line as she was busy doing something other than ringing up customers. Don't believe it was very important. I asked her if she was open and she told me the other cashier would get me. The other cashier was busy with return. Although I knew that was dead wrong being a retail person most of my life. I decided not to arguer and wait patiently until other cashier finished with return. About that time manger came out and said hey she(Sharzia) will get you on other register so he shouted at her "you are up and running now right?" She replied yes but did not aknowledge or signal me to get in her line so I did. So after she rung me up I said thankyou and she just replied "um hm"...

Wow I said to myself she is very disrespectful and un appreciative of my business. Want be going back anytime soon and might even return what I bought.

I don't expect the red carpert but at least thank the customer for coming in since his/her money can be spent anywhere and they chose to come see you. That is how I have always thought in retail. On receipt is has her name and her title as salesperson.
