Just waited over 30 min for a drink…again. I give this location a try every month or so and it’s always the same. I order in the app, check in at the location, the screen says someone is bringing my drink and then nothing. I always have to press the red button and speak with someone before they bring it out. No apologies or remorse for how long it takes either. Today, my drink was diluted and there was sweat on the outside of my cup, so I know it’s been sitting there for quite a while. Not sure why I keep giving them a try, or why this location is still open. I guess the store manager and district manager just don’t care.
Imagine you are driving home from a day of work. You think to yourself, man, I'd love a drink. You open your Sonic app because you know that you can get half price drinks anytime. You order the vanilla Dr. Pepper. You show up, check into the stall via the app and you wait, and wait, and wait. 10, 15, 20 minutes go by and your order has now cleared off the screen. You press the red button, they say the order will be right out and it is, almost immediately. You get the drink and there it's covered in condensation because it's been sitting out so long. You drive off, frustrated, because it took 20+ minutes to get a drink. While driving home you open the straw, take a big sip and bam, it's straight vanilla. Undrinkable. But do you go back? No, because you don't have another 30 minutes of your life to waste waiting for a drink. 2 weeks later you say, hey, I want a drink, and you try it all again. Guess what. Same exact scenario happens except this time I got a watered down root beer. Not sure what happened to this location since the pandemic but I will revert back to driving to the Cottage Hill location. Never had an order incorrect there and never had to wait 20 minutes for a drink, even when most stalls are full.
*Updated 3.25.23 - No progress to report. Placed order ahead in app. Checked in at stall for 2 drinks. Watched people come and go in the drive through. Had to call in after 15 minutes to confirm they received my order and then they brought it out immediately, but made one of the 2 drinks incorrectly. Didn’t have another 15 minutes to wait on that to be corrected so I left. Please just go to the one on Cottage Hill, they are so much faster and accurate.
*original review - I guess it's my fault for continually giving this location chances. It started with slow service and now the orders aren't correct. Filled out the survey both times via email but I guess that doesn't incentivize the location to do better. That staff is always nice and friendly. Read moreUpdate March 18th. Their customer service has improved and I got four great perfectly cooked corn dogs. I'm am so happy. Lol due to my health conditions I can rarely eat food like this so once a week I kind of have a cheat day and I love corn dogs I finally have a place I can go to and actually get good corn dogs that allows me to have a perfect cheat day thanks Sonic for fixing your deficiencies in a timely manner. 😊
Update 1130pm nov 10 2024 they still burnt. This is ridiculous. Halloween was 10 days ago and I just got served Freddy Krueger fingers instead of corn dogs. Who ever this District Manager they clearly do not care about the food that goes out. This is a trend somebody need to be fired. Corn dogs they can't make corn dogs.. 😕 I will be contacting regional yes i want my money back. Please attached number and email yes this has to be escalated. Below is my last review 9 months ago.

I have seen fast food restaurants go down so fast you would not give customers who are dining in burnt food but for some reason whenever food is delivered from Uber Eats a lot of stores give customers garbage food that they wouldn't eat this has to stop my hot dogs were so burnt the bread had the consistency of steak the hot dog itself has separated from the inside of the bread. This is sad. I know human beings that wouldn't give their dog this food and other human beings decided to give it to another human being this is disgusting we got to do better people we got to hire better people we got to pay people more money or get robots robots are cheaper anyway human being no longer care.
