i really enjoyed my experience purchasing & altering my dress at David’s Bridal :) however it was far drive from home. I went in late Sept for my October courthouse wedding, super last minute. My mom was looking for a dress & I had a few Amazon options but it needed some bling. I went in thinking a simple dress would make me happy but it didn’t complement my curves. We found a dress from the sample selection & I had to pick that one since I came in last minute. Those sample dresses are in perfect condition & I was so lucky!! My dress had a tiny brown stain that I was able to hand wash. Thank you to Amanda for helping me & really listening to me!! You made me feel so comfortable & I really felt special, like a bride. Thank you so so much!!! My mom also loved your support, she found her perfect green dress & couldn’t stop smiling!! We honestly thought alternations were included in my dress price however it was not. I think alterations cost a little over the price of my dress but it was sooooo worth it. Thank you Anna, Genieve, Marcella & Racquel, they altered my dress. They did an incredible job! I made an appt to pick up my dress, they were accommodating since I travelled 1 hour. After I picked up my dress, I noticed that there was a plastic thingy missing from the corset part on the back side. I went inside & they stitched it up perfectly! I was amazing at how it fit me perfectly!! All the ladies are super sweet & made it a wonderful experience for me. Walked in, got my dress, had two alteration appt (one was same day) then came home & hand washed it. Read the label for your dress btw, hand wash was recommended for mine. I would highly recommend...

I had purchased another dress from a different shop in another city however there was dress by Galina stuck in my head that David's Bridal carried. Injist wanted to try on that one dress by Galina just to get it out of my head as I was sure the other dress I had purchased was really the one. The ladies were able to get me in on a same day appointment and I tried on the Galina. I fell in love with it instantly. I did really want to bring the other dress in to try on along with the Galina to triple check that it was the one and the ladies at DB told me absolutely it was fine and set up a later appointment. I left the store and decided to just grab the other dress and return to the store 30 min later. And though I had made a later appointment, the ladies were so excited to find out the outcome and thought it was so fun that they got me set up again in the dressing room with the Galina gown. Tried on my original dress which the ladies at DB said was a beautiful dress as well and loved the details of it. They did not knock it down at all to try to pressure me into their gown which was nice. I went to try on the Galina and just fell hard in love with it again. I knew it was the one over the other dress especially when the manager at DB asked me "which dress do you love more that you think you could wear everyday if you could?" I immediately said the Galina and that was it. The ladies were all so sweet and made the experience so much fun for me and I could tell they had fun as well. My stylist was Rosa Vera. She was awesome. Helpful, professional, considerate, gently honest, and receptive to my tastes and budget. She helped me find several dresses whose style I liked on the hanger and that were within my budget. When I found a dress that was over my budget that I liked, she found a similar one that was more affordable. When it came to trying dresses on, I knew I liked one more than another, but couldn't decide why. She let me know that one was slightly more flattering, which was ultimately the deciding factor. She also brought in their seamstress to help me envision the dress with off-the-shoulder draping straps. She considered the location of my wedding when it came to the length and material of the skirt. She brought out several veils for me to try on with the dress, to help get a better sense of what my entire look would be. I left with a dress, veil, and shoes within my budget, with room still left for alterations. As a customer and soon-to-be bride, I felt seen, heard, taken care of, and like my stylist was genuinely rooting for me. I didn't think I would find this kind of treatment at a larger corporate bridal store (versus a boutique), but I did, and I'm very grateful.
