Olive Garden Italian Restaurant — Restaurant in Modesto

Terrible service, Rachel C was our waiter and she was so rude! I NEVER do reviews but I’m just so upset. She started off very attentive but still seemed off then when our food came she passed me the plate to set next to me (for my boyfriend) and she was saying it was hot. She was right! The plate was hot and i burned my fingers and she rolled her eyes. I don’t understand why she would pass the plate to me if it was that hot, i also don’t understand why she would pass me the plate knows how hot it was. She could have easily walked to the other side of the table because me and my boyfriend were sitting on the same side. She then asked my boyfriend if he wanted cheese on this pasta when he said yes she scoffed very rudely as if it was an inconvenience to give him some cheese on his pasta. After this she walked to who i assumed was the manager and pointed at us and said not to give us anymore drinks ( we had ordered a pitcher of sangria and we’re barely on our first cups, also the Sangria seemed to have little to no alcohol on it. I was going to ask if they accidentally gave us virgin sangria because they did not ID us). At that point i was so upset with the service i just wanted to eat and leave so i did not ask. It’s upsetting to go out to eat on a nice Sunday after church and be treated so rudely. Our food is not sitting well in our stomachs because of this experience. We ate so uncomfortable and we now feel sick because of it. This is not okay! Especially because all the other secretes were looking at us as if she told her coworkers something about us because we were sitting by the bar area where the servers...

Oh my gosh! Let me start by saying, we got seated super fast. Service was Awesome and the food was Fantastic! I got the Creamy Mushroom Ravioli and my date got the Giant chicken parmesan. The portions were good sized, the flavors well-balanced. The chicken was moist and cooked thoroughly (bonus points for that). I got the salad and my date got the minestrone soup, both quite excellent. The bread sticks themselves were Divine. We also ordered the fried lasagna and mozzarella sticks for appetizers, both super yummy. And the warm apple crostata and black tie mousse cake for dessert, both delicious. My favorite part was being asked if we wanted free samples of wine (I've never been to a restaurant that did that before and my previous experience at an Olive Garden I did not get offered that). The wine was delectable. I personally would recommend this specific Olive Garden. Also very cleanly restuarant and friendly staff. Again, all well-balanced flavors. For Italian food, it's less than authentic, but I personally was in love with it all. There is handicap parking and wheel chair access. Also the facilities seemed to be well-maintained. 10/10 Will recommend it to friends and family. We went the other day and it was just two of us. I wish that I could remember the name of the server. She was so very sweet. We split some chicken tortellini which my girlfriend said was a bit rubbery, but I liked it a lot so we will leave that for her review! Server was absolutely sweet and gave us extra salad and we ordered the extra $5 take as you go on train. That was baked CD which was really great even though I left it all night and most of the day in the microwave on accident I don't recommend doing that but it still was okay for me. She also gave us breadsticks to go which was super duper sweet so we walked out the door paying about $40 for a meal for two that included to diet pepsis. And to take home. I definitely would like to go back there and the service a manager. Gosh I wish I could remember her name. We were at the sea that you walk in and you go to the left right there.
