Meadows Frozen Custard — Local services in Monroe Township

Great place for a cool treat! Located on the side of Peebles by the Clarion mall, kind of easy to miss if you don't know what to look for. Anyway, they have a lot of different items to choose from, but my all-time favorite, and what I pretty much always get when I go there, is the hot apple dumpling sundae....o....m....g. You get a HUGE apple dumpling, vanilla custard, caramel sauce, whipped cream and a cherry on top, all for around $5. So, so good. If youre a fan of the apple dumplings during ALF, you will LOVE these. The only thing is, they keep them frozen, for obvious reasons, so when they heat them up for your sundae, sometimes the middle of the apple is still cold, but it certainly doesn't take away from the taste. The only other thing I've ever gotten there was their Gelato, Italian ice and custard, which was also very good. But they have so many other things there and I always want to try something different, but that apple dumpling......keeps calling me back every time. Everyone I've encountered there has been super friendly and helpful. Usually I go through the drive- thru, which is basically just their menu board and then you drive up to the window to give your order, but they do have seating inside and you can order...

Stopped in for dessert after having dinner in town and I must say this place has some super yummy frozen treats.

My family & I were on a road trip from the Chicago area to eastern PA to visit my dad's siblings who live in Tamaqua and Coaldale.

I figured since we were staying a night in a nearby hotel and not really in a hurry to just settle for typical mass franchise fast food and ice cream, let's see what PA has for us.

With a lot of high ratings and shining reviews, this venue was the chosen one for my kids. The frozen yogurt/custard is delicious here and the residents of Clarion are lucky to have this gem.

There are some great options ranging from fro-yo, custard, Italian ice, gelatis, smoothies, sundaes, etc. Understandably it's a chain but we don't have this in IL and we definitely loved it.

Sadly when we'll return remains a mystery being we were passing thru and recently the visit to PA was the first time since 2011 I was here and the first visit for my wife & kids. Hope for continued boomin' business for...

I'm not a fan of frozen custard, but I do like frozen yogurt and Italian ice, both of which are sold here, granted this time I didn't get any Italian Ice, but I did get some frozen yogurt, though in all fairness it was good but I like the frozen yogurt I get at IKEA better, the texture is more crisp and the flavor is also better at IKEA, but I do know what kind of Italian Ice Meadows serves and next time I'm here I think I'll get that, as for the service I received they were very friendly and even gave my Mom a sample of what she ordered before she ordered it to make sure she wanted it, though I think they need more people to work here since they seemed a little understaffed, so if you want a job and live nearby please check...
