RBG Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Monroe Township

Christmas 2016, Slow service. Ordered Mimosa and was told no champagne at the bar. Limited menu so thought would be ready but no. Waiter brought rolls after 45 minutes because we were so hungry. No bread plates to put them on! Dinner finally came but all meals were lukewarm except one, which was stone cold. The gravy was congealed on hers. All asked for gravy on mashed potatoes and we were told they ran out of gravy. After asking a third time we were given bowls of what looked like cream of chicken soup for gravy. Needless to say the potatoes were cold by then. Salad bar was a joke! Coffee was barely hot. So to recap, we had reservations as did the other 8 people in the courtyard. They were not busy at all. But with 2 items on limited menu would you not have it hot and ready at 1:00 pm? Clarion needs another nice restaurant and this is not it. I suggest getting real chefs, or at least a microwave or steam table. This was your second chance because we came for Mother's Day and you ran out of food!! All my husband ate was a roll and coleslaw that day! Get your act together or close! By the way the waiter was very nice so we paid and tipped. Not his fault!!! The 1.75 we spent there was not...

Service was awful. We waited almost 20 minuts to be seated. They were not busy, there was only one occupied table and they told us that they had to wait almost an hour for their food. They forgot my 2 year olds breakfast, cream for our coffee and i had to ask 3 times for a fork for my wife and her toast came 30 minutes after her omelet. Ibhad to ask 3 times for it also. When they finally brought the cream for our coffee the server slammed it on the table next to me splashing it onto my sweater, in a very loud angry tone said "thats cream!" We were treated awfully. So, needless to say we had a terrible experience. The food was good, however, the service was so awful we would never go back! If you stay in the hotel this restaurant is in do yourself a huge favor and order...

The best burgers around! I don't understand why they are never busy. And the tomato basil soup is delicious. Some serious marketing needed. The bartender last night was super nice and accommodating even though it was almost closing time and we were the only people in there.

An amendment to my review... The last time I was at rbg's the menu had changed, the burgers were not as good, I was very disappointed. Hopefully they will return to...
