Monroe Plaza — Local services in Monroe

Can always find stuff there that I never had any plans to buy. It's a dollar store. There just never seems to be enough carts available. I have only had one issue with a worker there. I needed 16 balloons for a b-day party. I went in knowing which one's I needed. I checked all the balloons that were already done, and they had none that I needed. I went up to the lady and told her what I needed and she looked right at me and said, "you need to pick from what is already done". What???? I do not think so. I said NO and then she huffed over to her manager and said that I wanted balloons that were not filled up already. I think she thought she was in the right. The manager told her to get over there and fill up the ones I needed. I went about shopping while this was being done. I came back for my order, and out of 16, 6 had to be redone as she only filled them about 3/4th of the way. I will never apologize for the theme of the party and needing...

First we went to the 1$store to find Thanksgiving table clothes cause everywhere else we went was sold out. But they had a bunch. Not happy with gh quality ones but it covers the tables and is festive. The ladies in the dollar store were very pleasant, attentive and friendly. Next we went to the Bargain Place. Greetings as we came in, we found a couple things and definitely was worth the wait. K, I picked up a melon slicer which (would have) costed me $12-15.00. I got it for $2.50. Then we went to my favorite place Starbucks. Little busy inside tonight, but quick service from register to picking up our drinks. Well worth it. My Toasted White Chocolate Mocha is blended perfectly, as well my husband got a peppermint white chocolate mocha. He said it tasted great. The batista ladies are always so nice. This is a pretty good shopping plaza to visit for quick, one-stop shopping needs. It has a farm supply store, paint store, hair master, dollar store, a vape shop, a bank, a Starbucks and a couple places to eat ranging from tacos, to teriyaki, to pizza. I frequent the Starbucks and the girls there make great drinks and have great customer service. I've lived here my whole life and have watched many bussinesses come and go, but many of them have been here for the past 5+yrs (with the exception of costal). Honestly, the only thing missing is a gas station. But they've got one...
