Just moved into a new apartment, very nice and clean. The application process was a bit frustrating due to poor communication from staff. After applying I waited a week before reaching out, waiting for the staff to call me regarding my application that I paid and submitted. When I called they kept having to wait for another staff member to call me back. When the staff member called me back she told me that I needed a co-signer. The staff should have called me as soon as they got ahold of this information rather then wait for me to reach out about my application.
When it came down to me signing my lease via email it was very frustrating how the staff acted a bit careless. I was not receiving my lease to sign via email. When I called them to let them know they told me they would resend the email of the lease to sign. However, even after this I still did not receive the DocuSign via email. I called and had to leave a message stating my email in the voicemail just in case. The staff did not reach out to me after I left the voicemail. I waited the next business day and gave the office a call once again. When I got ahold of a staff member they asked me what my email was to see if it was the correct email, mind you I have already sent emails weeks prior of my credentials to even get in the apartment. So the staff has received multiple emails regarding my credentials, yet asked me what my email was. I gave my email to the staff member very confused because they should already have it. Behold the staff member was sending the DocuSign to the wrong email address the entire time all because she added an extra “L”. Very silly mistake for a business to make, and to make it worse not even apologize for it take accountability for that mistake. And to put a cherry on the cake, she wanted me to resend my credentials although I was instructed to send my info over a week prior to her asking me once again.
The staff here needs to be more organized in order to have effective communication with tenants who are spending money on a service.
Edit : the entire vanity fell out of the all while I was in the bathroom . Not the glass the entire VANITY SCREWS CAME OUT OF THE WAL. I was able to catch it while falling but if it were to have been an older person or a child it could have been death because the vanity is heavy where I had a rough time putting it down even though it fell on me. I was okay with a sore shoulder for about a week from the vanity falling on me. But just to think, if I weren’t young and strong it could have been a bad I injury or even death. You guys are sick and hire a bunch of dirty people who don’t know what they’re doing
Something like this should have never happened to begin with . Take...
Read moreWhere can I start with this apartment complex.... From the moment I moved in I knew it would be a mistake within the first night our kitchen drawer and our cabinet door broke. When maintenance came to fixed it they used glue on our kitchen drawer and let it drip down onto the cabinets below and caused them to be glued shut. When they came the second time to scrape off said glue they only covered it with one coat so it was still visible. Moving on to the dishwasher.....plain and simple I spent a lot of time washing dishes by hand. The best part is we talked to the office four times and they promised a service guy within 24 hours and guess who never came....if you guessed maintenance you are correct! On to the lovely air conditioner if I had to guess when we moved in it had to be at least a 10 year old model that was on its last leg way before we got there but to keep up with the ongoing theme of the apartment it did not work either. It took months for us to get a new one we should have never been stuck with in the first place. Moving on to the bathroom... I like consistency a lot and that is something I never had with my shower water. The water did this funny thing where out of no where BAM it went from normal temperature to scolding hot. We called it to be serviced and they said it was something with our shower head being clogged which to me makes no sense. on top of that we had to play with the shower knobs to get the water to work we had it down to a science..turn on the hot knob and then turn on the cold shower knob turn them both off turn on the shower and then turn the water again and by the second or third time there was running water... they blamed that on the shower head being clogged too....when it was time to get out of my lease no one would return my phone calls it took my ex refusing to pay his rent for me to get my email releasing me out of the contract....basically due to the AWFUL experience I would never...
Read moreBefore moving in, I corresponded with staff via email indciating my need for a 2 bedroom dog friendly unit. At the time I was told that there weren’t any units available for my move in date, but I would be the first to know if something came available. Shortly after I was informed that there was a unit available for my move in date. Considering the fact that my preferences were already shared, I assumed the unit would fit my needs. Long story short, I was assigned to a one bedroom, dog friendly unit. Staff informed me that they would attempt to fix it after speaking with their manager. Their way of fixing the issue resulted in me paying WAY more money than I initially anticipated. (Because the unit they reassigned me to had a balcony and the price for an actual two bedroom unit is more) If I decided to bring my dog, it would’ve been an additional amount of money. Considering the fact that I was already paying more than I anticipated, I had to make other arrangements for my dog.
Since moving in I’ve had the pleasure of living under the actual neighbors from hell. Noise complaints are a joke and that section in your lease that states you have the right to enjoy your leased premises is also a joke. I believe I got new upstairs neighbors since I moved in and it’s gone from bad to worst. The stampede scene from The Lion King is a pretty accurate comparison to what I hear every single night. If they aren’t stomping, thumping, or banging around I have the pleasure of hearing their squeaking bed which is another barrier to me and my child getting the sleep we need before having to get up at 5am for work and school. I haven’t enjoyed my leased property since moving in and requesting to terminate my lease early resulted in me having to pay a fee of over $2,000. If you expect to live in peace, sleep when you desire, and deal with people who aren’t solely concerned about money...This is not the...
