Very unprofessional. If you are looking for a space to rent, stay FAR AWAY FROM HERE. The landlord is ALWAYS present, hounding you and harassing you. He interrupted me several times to talk badly about other tenants which is very unprofessional. If you stand up for yourself and try to enforce your boundaries and he doesn’t agree..... he will breach your contract and lock all of your things in your office until HE feels like seeing you to give you your things back. He even created a fake email stating that he is ending my contract and changed the locks on me for not having liability insurance for my business. That was a lie and when I offered to show him proof that I have liability insurance he then switched his reasoning and said he was kicking me out because I don’t know how to communicate? Mind you, I respectfully asked him why he kept kicking my clients out of the shared waiting room that I had access to, as per the agreement. Then suddenly the next day I’m locked out of my office and had to reschedule all of my lash clients. He also locked me out of my office and held all of my things for nearly a week, when the entire month of April was paid for. Imagine being locked out of your place of business so suddenly because the landlord has an attitude? He was super nasty to all of my clients as well as another tenants clients and constantly kicked them out of the shared waiting room that we have access to. He tells all of his other tenants business, he’s always wandering around, although it says 24 hour access... you do not have 24 hour access at all even though COVID restrictions have been lifted, he’s a very forceful sales person, he sneaks around in people’s offices when they aren’t there, he is rude, and when he does not agree with you... he will kick you out and hold your things hostage until he feels like it. He even stole another tenants mail and told her she would not be getting it back. (ILLEGAL) So yeah, this is NOT the place for anyone to rent. Stay away, I am...
Read moreRenters beware. I found this location on Liquid Space and since it was in town, I figured I would check it out in person. First and foremost, the host or owner/landlord is a forceful sales person. I should have known right away to worry once he started his sales pitch the first second I walked in. But since I recently started my own business and needed an office (no longer wanted to work from home), I looked passed it and rented the office. As advertised on the website Liquid Space where I found the office, it was a 1 month minimum. That's all I knew. For the first month, I did not use the office. So the last week of the month, I let the landlord know that I would not be renewing, and that I would need my security deposit back at the end of the month. I honestly never even stepped foot in the office. Realized I didn't actually need it and worked from home instead. When I approached the landlord, he immediately became erratic, telling me I needed to give him 30 day notice. I informed him that that I was not told this before, again, on Liquid Space, it is clear as day that he ADVERTISES the location as a 1 month minimum. He called me screaming saying I was being "unprofessional". I never raised my voice. He did. He asked me to come into the office, which i assumed was to give me my money, and instead, had someone sit in a meeting room with me to tell me how I was wrong to ask for the money back and that wasn't the "agreement", the agreement which I never received or was told. My only understanding of the space was the 1 month minimum. That being said, the landlord NEVER gave me a rental agreement of any kind. He stole my one month security deposit, I am now forced to go to small claims to redeem my money. If you're looking for an office space please stay as far from this location as possible, unless you plan to get scammed. Also, I wouldn't believe the positive posts on here. They were tossed up immediately after I made my...

My recent visit to Lackawanna Office Space left much to be desired. The offices were furnished nicely. It's not wheelchair friendly. Upon inquiry about their services and rates, I was met with an unsettling lack of transparency. There were no brochures or set pricing, and it felt as though the prices were conjured up on the spot during our conversation. Prior to my appointment, I called to inquire about rates and was informed of hourly, daily, and monthly options. However, during my interaction at the office, I was only presented with monthly rates, despite expressing a preference for hourly rates. As fellow business people, mutual respect for preferences should be upheld. I strongly advise future patrons to insist on receiving standard rates in writing to avoid any potential discrepancies or misunderstandings. The overall shadiness of the experience left me feeling uncomfortable and ultimately led me to seek...
