Clean & nice selection. All employees were so so nice except the woman at the fitting room. We have lived all over the US & Hawaii & we usually just fill up our cart and bring it into the fitting room to get it all tried on & over with instead of 500 trips. No one was at the fitting room when we were waiting to get one. So we did what we've ALWAYS done (and do every time we go to target in Goldsboro,NC) and rolled on in there and had fun trying things on.
We are on leave for a cruise and stopped through to get suits and a few other things before we sail, tomorrow. About 10 minutes into trying things on, a womans voice starts saying loudly, "ONLY SIX ITEMS IN DRESSING ROOMS. NO CARTS UNLESS YOU HAVE SMALL CHILDREN." By this point, we are already undressed so I'm not going to walk out .... So she started singing, "NOOOO MORE THAN SIX ITEMMSSS IN THE FITTING ROOOOOMMMSSS" over and over. Like how passive-aggressive ARE YOU? Childish.
Then I hear her tell 3 different employees, "There are more than six items in THAT room right there.. And a cart." So obviously you saw us waiting for a room... You saw us go into the room when no one was at the counter to help us... And now instead of knocking on my door to politely let me know the policy of a Target ive never been to, youre being a 5 year old and singing about it, tattling on us to anyone who will give you an ear, and literally just waiting for us to come out. Give me a freaking break.
We come out and immediately, "MAAM... MAAM... no carts are allowed in fitting rooms and no more than six items." nicely, I said, "yes I heard you but I was already naked. We are not from here. The target back home allows us to just bring our cart in. We wont be back."
"YES BUT NO CARTS..." She kept repeating herself so I cut her off and said, 'YES WE ARE NOT FROM HERE. ITS FINE. I WONT BE BACK.'
I understand she is just doing her job but that is SO CHILDISH. If someone had been there and told us, wed have done right. No one was at the desk so we did what we ALWAYS DO. It is not that serious.
We were in there for about 25 minutes trying on, picking and choosing what to and not to get. We like trying on stuff so it is usually fun but every 2 to 3 minutes, you hear her whining to someone about us. Childish.
Otherwise, everyone else was awesome, bathrooms are clean and its nicely stocked unlike the one near our...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreGiving it two stars because at least the lady who checked us out was very pleasant.
My sister and I were on our way to the beach and we needed some clothing. We made the decision to stop in at this target to get the things we need. We did end up grabbing quite a few items to try on but we were okay with following the rules of 6 at a time and were even willing to put some of our stuff back so we didnāt overwhelm the workers. There was a team working in soft lines at the dressing room and they were folding some clothes but mostly just standing around, leaning on the counter, talking and using their phones. That part didnāt bother me too much because I work luxury retail and sometimes you just want to rest and cut up with your coworkers. I totally get it.
What bothered me was that there was a women who kept talking badly about my sister and I loudly enough to where we could hear her. She kept making snarky comments saying āwhy you gotta bring up the whole storeā or āyou should know your size, you should get what you need a leave.ā While laughing about us amongst each other. She made a snarky comment to me when I knocked on the dressing room door that my sister was previously in. It made us so uncomfortable and we were nothing but polite to them. This woman and her group were so unpleasant and really ruined the experience. Iāve worked at Target, I know it can be a lot especially during busy times. I would have NEVER talked like that in front of guests. If it was the store I worked at, I would have been fired for that kind of behavior.
To summarize it all, my biggest issue were the employees at the dressing room. They were so unbelievably rude, petty, and unpleasant. As someone who had worked in retail for over 10 years, it has to be atrocious to get to the point where I leave a review like this. Truly embarrassing for her to act that way at...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI went into Target on this good Christmas Eve in search of this Lego set my son really wanted. Before going to the store I scanned it in on the Target app to see if the store in Montgomery had it in stock before driving there. To much surprise they did. In the store I'm searching and asking associates to help me locate the item because it's not on the shelf. Everyone kept saying it's not here, sorry. So, I decide to move all the boxes that were about the same size as the item I was looking for, and boom there it is hidden. So, I scan it to see the price which comes up $55.98!!! I'm so excited. I get to the register... The young man scans the item and it comes up $79.99.... shocked was my face! I show him the price on the app. He attempts to override it but needs a manager. So, a department lead comes over and tells me that she doesn't know where that price came from but when they can it on their device it comes up $63.99 (which isn't $79.99- so your computer is still wrong). She tells me they cannot give me the adjustment for what their app says, and has a terrible attitude about it, like it was her money that she would be losing out on. Annoyed with the situation I say that's fine and take the item for $63.99. I felt like she didn't try nor care. But all in all I took it to another Target that was much friendlier and got my correct price adjustment. I truly didn't appreciate the lack of effort from the employees on the floor when attempting to find the item; nor did I appreciate the lack of compassion and professionaism of the...
