Honeybee review
I have never been so underwhelmed and disappointed with a customer services experience in my life. I booked an appointment online to go wedding dress shopping at Honeybee. We arrived to our appointment and were greeted by the women working and she explained a little bit to me about the dress selection. We then started pulling dresses and she took them back to the room for us. She then walked us back the room and just stood there. I was unsure what to do and asked if I should go behind the curtain and start getting ready and she said “yeah” and then walked away and never came back. She did not help me get into a single dress, she didn’t helped secure the dresses on me, and she did not check on us one single time. My maid of honor had people had to help me get dresses on and secure them with clips to try and get a better idea of what they actually looked like. Again, she did not check on us once. There was no other bridal parties there dress shopping. There were some other customers looking at the prom dresses, but she did not appear to be helping them either. When we got done we just grabbed our things and left with zero idea where the women working even went. After she put us in the room we did not see here again.
This was my first time going and looking at dresses and it truthfully wrecked the experience for me a little bit. I was so disappointed in the lack of help and support I was expecting as someone looking for their wedding dress. I would highly recommend not choosing Honeybee bridal; especially if this is your first time looking and you are wanting any type of guidance to have the fun, exciting, helpful experience as a bride- you will find the exact...
Read moreUpdate: when I did alterations I was able to get my dress back very quickly (within 48 hours) but they recommend a minimum of a week (which I think is fair), the prices seemed about right compared to other places that do alterations too. My dress turned out great and fit just like the day i got it.
Got my wedding dress from there. The ladies that own the shop help you, and do their own alterations. I have not done that yet, since my wedding is next summer, but I am told she does an awesome job. (Will update after that process) Anyway, they were very helpful and I really like how they have their dresses displayed (not in bags and spread out). They had a variety of sizes that I could actually fit into and they had different styles compared to other places that I went to. I was forced to try something different there and ended up liking the dress I got.
They also told me how they picked the name for the shop and I think that is awesome (so ask them about it!)
They do not like pictures being taken, but they allowed me to come back to try the dress on again to see how it would photograph on me and it worked out for me.
I would recommend people looking for a dress to check them out, again they have different styles compared to other shops that I looked at, super friendly and since they do their own alterations they can help you achieve a...
Read moreThis was my first shop looking for wedding dresses. Upon entrance the gal asked for my date. I told her the date and she almost immediately quit caring. Not only that but every time we found a dress I thought I may like if it wasn’t my size she made sure to be over dramatic and let me know. I appreciate being pointed in the right direction, but I already know I’m not small and I really don’t need some random person pointing that out to me.
Also if they want you commenting notes when booking the appointment I feel like they should read said comments. They were made well aware that my wedding is 2 years out and I solely wanted to try on dresses to see what I would like/ felt best in.
I absolutely don’t recommend this place. It is unfortunate as a bride because the experience should be fun,...
