Update: As of today, I am officially canceling my membership for the sole purpose of the PERSONAL TRAINERS, SPECIFICALLY BRANDON AND HAYDEN. They are quite the hypocritical bunch especially when they say to re-rack weights when they can't even do that themselves neither their clients which is a nasty/annoying habit to pass off to others. As for their training, I would look into at least trying, and I say that loosely because you are getting ripped any way you look at it, to get your money's worth because based off the past months and years I have watched from a distance, they can't even teach their clients proper form neither keep an eye on them for two seconds before glancing off to their phones. They also hoard a collection of EZ bar curls in their private "training area" which they are overly sensitive about, even if you are out of the way. Thanks LA Fitness you have lost another client because of your obnoxiously rude staff.
Used to love this place in my high school days, now it just irritates me to work out here. The only way I can put up with the nonsense here is by putting my earphones on and zoning out. Most of the cable machines have been out of service since the beginning of December. They mop at the worst time(almost got hurt slipping on hack squats and leg press several times). Half the people that workout here must think that they're all that and a bag of chips because they can't put the dBells back in the right spot, some just leave them once they're finished working out. I have one foot out the door of this place, about ready to cancel...
Read moreWhile working out in the trainers area at the gym I was asked to leave the area. I told the trainer we used to be able to use this area until they turned it into a training area for paying customers only. She tried to tell me that it has always been for paying customers. She tells me I can use it when they're not training but when they are training we can't use it. I told her we used to be able to use it and she wanted to tell me no. I told her when this place first opened it was open for everybody. She argued that point with me. I told her they put all this equipment in this area and told us if we want to use it we have to pay. she also told me she's been nice by letting us work out in there when there's no training sessions. She further stated that she could shut it all down and keep us out. She proceeded to tell me that I could sign up for training sessions if I wanted to use it.. I told her I don't need them. I continue to tell her they have since shut down three racquetball courts and made those areas for paying customers only. I told her they keep taking more places away from us to work out and if we want to use them we have to pay. I also stated that some of us like to work out in one spot and not move around. She proceeded to point out other areas where I could work out but I told her that spot has no mirrors and that spot has no weights. I made it abundantly clear that I've been coming to this gym since it opened. She had nothing to say after that. 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
I quit working out after that I was no longer in the mood to workout. She...
Read morePlease reconsider this gymnasium before trying to get a membership. At around 12:00pm yesterday it was my first time in the Moreno Valley area looking for a gymnasium membership. I talked to Nancy she was nice enough to give my friend and I a tour of the facility. Nancy showed the break down of the different areas to workout, where to shower and where the lockers are located. Nancy gave us a five day pass which after yesterday I will not use. After the tour, my friend and I decided to workout for about 2 hours. Since I only had clothes in my gym bag with no valuables and at previous gymnasiums in the United States this has not caused troubles, I decided to leave my clothes with my gym bag with no lock at one of the designated lockers that have numbers. I mean common my clothes and gym bag were old and unbranded. This turn to be the gym that disappointed with their security system. Per on of the front ladies, this LA Fitness facility does not have cameras outside the gymnasium where people workout. Gymnasiums that are low cost have security cameras. I could not believe this gymnasium has no security cameras. If they had cameras on their premises security would have been to catch the person that stole my bag. However, seeing that LA Fitness is consider a good brand I am in utter disappointment that they can afford to let thieves get away with stealing. Thus, please be aware of your surroundings and do not visit this gym until cameras are install for your security and...
