I went to this UPS store to return several packages to Amazon. When I entered the store there were two associates each helping a customer. When Ruby who identified herself as the store manager was done assisting the customer, she began to do something at the counter rather than assist the next customer in line, for several minutes Ruby ignored me as I waited with four packages. When Ruby was done doing whatever she was doing, she the rudely addressed me, as if I was bothering her. As I did my transactions I distinctly noticed Ruby's rude demeanor, she clearly didn't want to assist me, Ruby scanned one package, walked away from the counter, returned and stated " are you ready" I replied yes. The interaction didn't get any better. One of my boxes was open, I asked for tape, Ruby states the ape is 8.00 at this point I had enough of Ruby's rude disrespect to me as a customer and I told her so. Instead of using her management skills Ruby escalated the negative experience by mocking me, I asked for the manager when the second associate informed me that Ruby is the manager, I asked for the contact information for the owner at which time both associates refused to give me any owner contact information such as a business email or offering to take my information and forward to owner, therefore I decided to notify UPS customer relations as well as post about my experience. A bit of information about myself, I have been coming to this UPS store location for a long time, I counted my receipt and they totalled more than 100, I am not exaggerating, I will gladly present proof to the owner upon request. When I come across a business that treat's me as if my business and loyalty matter I tend to continue doing business with the company. I travel about 9 miles, literally bypassing two UPS stores to visit this store. I have not had a negative experience with this location until I met Ruby. Her blatant disrespect has changed my mind. I won't be returning to this location again. I also left a message requesting the owner contact me so the owner knows what is happening at the store. There's also cameras, the owner can review for themselves. Mainly when we have people like Ruby in our business, who present as management yet lack the basic skills to problem solve eventually the business will be affected. Especially when a customer goes out of their way to visit a store I thought of as special due to the exceptional customer service, not anymore. Sure I'm one customer in many, but I'm a frequent customer that does a lot of business at this UPS store location. I also understand the stores are independent franchise therefore the owners have more leeway to operate as they please. That's another reason to take my business elsewhere. If Ruby continues with the attitude this store's sales will eventually reflect...
Read moreLet me first start by saying that Sade is an amazing cashier! I walked into the store with a ton of questions. She was able to answer all of them and even provide me with additional information that I didnt know I needed. She offered insurance on the package (didn't no existed) which was great because I was worried about the status of my package. She taught me how the rates depend on the value of the parcel and really helped me make a decision to calm my insecurities about the package's transit. I asked so many questions that I expected at least one ambiguous answer, but no. Sade was able to illustrate the ease of transit for my package and even help me decide on its insurance. WONDERFUL SERVICE AND SUPER KIND! We even bonded over Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy because she liked my shirt. Thats when I asked her name and found out the it was Sade, which is the name of the artist that sings Smooth Operator (the first song my husband dedicated to me on our first date in 2017).
