Ross Dress for Less — Local services in Morganton

Gave it a two star, trust me I live in Moganton the day I was born Watch this Morganton Heights getting built too. The only issue I have with this store is the lady in the back that works near the fitting room. American woman with Brown hair, Wear Glasses. Like every Time I come towards the home section she will walk up next to you pretending to do something. Like it makes me feel uncomfortable. I'm not stealing plus I think it was because of my skin tone. This made her think I was probably trying to steal something. Because of my skin tone. Last time she was following me like at least 5 feet away, I just couldn't shop at that section no more so I went to the dress section a place where she doesn't follow or think your stealing. Never in my life I felt so unconformable shopping. I get its your job but woman constantly just following a college girl around just weird.

----UPDATE---- 06-19-18 Went back to Ross, this time i felt better. Nice lady in blonde. She was the sweetest! i felt better shopping around the home and bed section spent over 100 bucks. Shopping was a success!!!! But still leaving at the two stars because i still felt a tab uncomfortable, not sure if they lady in brown hair still works there. i probably just shop on tuesday. to be safe and good mood...

This store just makes me feel out of place everytime I go in. I do not know why, Its just uncomfortable fey are really turning this place for the better. The employqaees are there to help if you need. This time of year they hire extra help so the first person you ask may not know how to help you. Just be mindful that the emp lol oyees ANYWHERE are human. Think of this... Can you imagine if we all pushed our karts through the store as the same way most all of us drive on the streets. In the store if you almost hit carts with another person, 99.9% of us will be very polite and all cordial like. Now if we almost t-bone someone in the street or pull out in to trafficj cutting someone off 99.9% of us blare a horn and use angry words towards the other individual. Crazy thought I know. I am finally the gal with a enivious closet, filled inexpensive, name brand, clothes that scream some major sassappeal! All thanks to Ross. I am the woman who has to dept jump since I am what some consider a plus size and others place me with the other majority of American women in the "average woman" dept. This is why this store is so great. The prices allow me to choose from each section adding great pieces to my closet. Watch your wallet in this place, with all the great finds at awesome prices you feel the urge to buy more than take a risk and it get gone before your next trip. I tried the no buggy technique, but Ross has super helpful staff, and they end up bringing me a buggy to take the weight off my arms.
