Chick-fil-A — Restaurant in Morganton

Dine-in #8321170 ordered around 535 decided to bring my kids here to play and eat considering how cold it is outside. MY ISSUE: There is a woman with out a badge...about 5 ft tall gray button down shirt brown hair that is down and ONLY talked rudely to my children about the rules that were in the play area! If my child is Standing on the slide I understand that it might be her job to tell them to abide by the policy but my children felt extremely uncomfortable...litterally wanted to leave. I Spoke to another table and they said it wasn't the first time someone has made a comment about her. I come here for the amazing atmosphere and food but today has shown me the customer service falls short here at the morganton Chick-fil-A and I say that infuriated because I watched this employee stand at table 27 for a good 25 to 30 minutes just talking as I watched other children sit on top of the slide , stand on it , go up it ! Please check the cameras cause I promise you I watched this happen. And I'm very upset by the amount of customer service this employee provided. We love chick fil a & my girls love to go play inside however, 2 times this week we have wasted trips here. On Tuesday night it was 9 and I know the closing hour is 9 but the vehicles right in front of us were served and the OPEN green light was on at the drive thru. We had to back up and reverse in the pouring rain all the way back bc at that point we were stuck. If the sign would have been off we could have avoided that. Tonight, we got to the drive thru at 8:54, and AGAIN, we got the message that they were closed. I guess at least they had the light off this time but I still went through considering it was BEFORE 9. We will come back bc we eat at this chick fil a a lot and we won’t stop coming because of this but DO BETTER. If you are advertising hours, please go by them and if it is 9 the light should go off when the recording comes on that you are closed. I’m not sure how the ones in front of us got so lucky. Chick fil A has always been the BEST with quickness and friendly service but some of the workers are short and rude at times we have visited. Was there around 8pm tonight. This is the worst chick-fil-a I've ever visited. Addison who finally took my order after about 5+ minutes of me standing there watching her entertain the 2 young guys from the kitchen that was also at the counter area with her. Her first priorities was the guys, and I'm just a middle aged lady that didn't interest her (obviously and understandable) and I even said to her after giving her my order, "this is the most unorganized Chick-Fil-A I have ever been in, and her response was I was making tea...what? I guess she was referring to my extended wait to order,when I in fact was referring to all the people working there and were running around cutting up acting like they were just hanging out and not working! Completely ignoring the customers. I was shocked...totally floored!!!
