Our Mount Dora Transit and Tours tour was just wonderful. I truly do wish that I had the driver's name to be able to thank him personally. He taught us so much about this precious small town. One of these tours is surely a must on your visit to Mount Dora. When the tour ended, he dropped us off at a restaurant for lunch and told us that we could call him when we finished and he'd drive us back to our B&B. We're in our 80's and he knew that the walk, although not too long, would be too much for us. We asked him if he could recommend a place for dinner that evening and he named a few places, but what really surprised us was shortly after we were dropped off, he called us with the name of two more restaurants! Read moreWe visited Mount Dora on 5/31/25. We originally wanted to take the Trolley but it was out of service. However, the nice lady at the Trolley office referred us to the Mountain Dora Transit. We easily booked on line and followed their instructions.
The tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable about the town. He was on time and courteous.
His stories were educational and funny! Loved his sense of humor.
The tour was approx 35 min. Next time we’d like to take the Trolley Tour as well. I believe it’s much longer.
I highly recommend the Transit Tour for short and quick takeaways...

John came and picked us up where we were, not only it was a very fun and a simple tour but John saved us from the rain at the nick of time and waiting till the rain pretty much had stopped before we finished our tour, it was a really fun experience for my family and I.
