If this location cannot accommodate pick up orders/deliver to the car then they should stop offering it. I do pick up orders because I have young kids and it’s just more convenient and easy. There have been several occasions where I get a text response back after I’ve arrived that they don’t have staff to deliver to the car so I must go in to pick up. So I have to drag my kids in to pick up all the bags myself. Plus they charge a fee for the service that I often don’t receive. Most people that choose this option have a specific reason why so it’s super frustrating to have it happen so frequently. It has gotten to the point where I may stop shopping there because of it. Also, when I went in to pick up my stuff, there was a manager in there machine mopping the floor and I stood there to discuss with him and he ignored me! He was the one who ended up getting a bunch of orders out to us disgruntled customers. As if he couldn’t have stopped the machine to do that in the first place?! So the manager tried to do whatever he could but since this is such a corporate base grocery store there was no way he could fix it or call anyone. Their help desk was no help for even the manager. So he took my name and when it got reconciled he would call me. 1 day later he did and was very sympathetic. I went to get the gift card and he showed the balance was on it, like I showed him the money was out of my bank account. I gave the card to a family member only for them to go to a store, try to buy groceries and it had a 0 balance!!! The main problem is there is no one to reach out to fix problems like this. They also have Organic options which are also very affordable.The Aldis brand foods taste great and they are just as great as name brands. The only thing is if you do not have your own shopping bags, you have to buy them for just a few cents. This doesn't bother me, I always take my bags,but if I forgot one day it would be a hassle. ALDI does not pack your grocery bags either. They scan your items and throw the things back in the cart.
