I applied here two weeks ago I sat down for an interview with Eric. Besides the fact that Eric continue to answer Tana conversation with his coworkers almost 15 minutes past the interview time and told me he was responsible for the hiring in the beginning of the interview however at the end of the interview said that he needs to speak to the other manager, I thought things went well. Then he seem to be thrown off that I was even there and seemed very unprepared for the interview in general. The initial interaction indicated to me that no one knew that I was there to interview that day. Regardless I thought maybe I'd get the job..
He said I would hear something back later on the week I never did. Later I got an email saying that I was denied the position. Since I have reapplied again for the same position and I'm expected to come in for an interview Monday.. call the store no response. I have some nerve just to show up on Monday and be like hey do you guys even know what's going on here or did you hire someone else and they left that quick?
Honestly just a classic example of 20 some odd year olds being placed into management positions when they probably have no business.
It's probably why 60 to 70% of the reviews are one Stars here places operated by inadequate people and incompetence.
Again I'm going to go back here on Monday just to see if they even read the reviews or pay attention to their goals for hiring people and whether or not they're capable of keeping track of things. Because they've wasted 15 minutes of my time up front and another two weeks to hire me I honestly can't wait and I hope they try to start me and I just won't show up nor will I ever eat...
Read moreWe walked into the store to order, and the employee used the last of the barbacoa on my two tacos. She then retrieved an 8oz container from the back, and dropped it into the barbacoa liquid on the line, and proceeded to lose the meat she had just dropped—ultimately putting less than one ounce of meat (barely a shred) on his tacos. Instead of asking if he would like another protein, or just using the barbacoa he she had gotten from the back instead of ignoring food safety standards and putting it in the line full of liquid.
My boyfriend added guac to his tacos, only to receive an excessive amount on one taco and barely any on the others. The inconsistency was baffling. Why not use pre-measured spoons like Blue Coast Burrito does? It would prevent these issues and ensure portions are fair. To make matters worse, they never drain the meat or beans, leaving everything soggy.
I understand the staff is primarily teenagers, but there was zero effort here. Even the employee adding the meat looked knowingly uncomfortable with the laughable portion, and the one dumping guac showed the same lack of care.
Would you feel good about paying extra for a taco that’s essentially rice, guac, and lettuce—while being upcharged for a few scraps of pork? I called the store to discuss this and found their voicemail was full. Judging by recent reviews, this is a recurring issue, and management seems unbothered.

Read moreMy experience has been four to five stars up until the last month. This past month there’s been cheese and sauce on the counter by the tomatoes/corn/red sauce/green sauce/ lettuce. The burrito wrapping quality has dropped too which is understandable since they have a new guy & new girl doing it. My main complaint is the unclean counters and just a small single sheet of aluminum being between my burrito and any cheese and sauce on the counter. I recently went tonight and got a burrito and once it got to the second half of the counter(the dirty side) a red haired girl without makeup(don’t know her name didn’t read name tags, but I think she had blue eyes as well.) I asked for the cheese from the counter that was on my wrapper to be removed and she got all pouty and got another wrapping. I appreciate the effort at least but I only wanted the cheese off my wrapper not a new one. Thinking back now it was my mistake for expecting more than $10-20 worth of work. That’s all employees are paid here, I would be having a bad day too if I was paid that little. That being said after months of being a customer I would still clean the counters.
