DO NOT LIVE HERE!!
2024 update: almost a year later and this place has continued to impress me with how TERRIBLE it is to live here. At the beginning of this year we contacted management to renew our lease and they did not contact us back. My partner and I both went to the office and talked with Gwen, Jakira, Esteban, and other staff members whom I cannot remember the names of. They all said they would send paperwork and never did. This forced us to go on a month to month lease which was $1,900.00 per month!!!!! Since the management at the office were not assisting I contacted corporate to explain the issue and file a complaint. But guess what, I never heard back from them either! This forced my partner and I to find a new apartment to move into because management was so clearly price gouging us. Not to mention the maintenance staff continue to barge in unannounced, and never fix any issues. There was a day where we went over 24 hours without ac in the middle of August. I couldn't get the office to pick up the phone(they never do) so I had to drive around the complex until I found a maintenance worker to assist me. There was also a time where we had a water leak on the ceiling of our hallway closet, maintenance came to "fix" the issue after 3 MONTHS and painted over it... I could go on and on about how the gate is always broken, the trash compactor is always broken and there are bags of trash and food rotting outside the bins. Staff doesn't maintain any cleanliness of the community whatsoever. I am absolutely sick and tired of this community. We had to move out a day earlier than expected because management scheduled our move out day on a Sunday, which the office was closed on. On the day of move out, my partner and I went in to hand over the keys and Jakira told us that we had to schedule a walkout, but we were never informed of this. Jakira took us through the walkthrough begrudgingly and said she didn't have any paperwork from our move in and then started accusing us for issues in the apartment that we had been trying for months to get maintenance to fix!! She then told us that we would be charged another two months for our water bill because we were "behind" which did not make sense and we were never informed prior to this. She told us that if we had any questions we could call the office. I asked her if she had a specific number to call because the office never picks up the phone and she refused to give me her business card or any way to better get in contact with them. Just wow... My partner and I are celebrating that this is our last day at Glass Creek. Save yourself the time, money, and energy and find another place to live.
2023 review: Consistent false fire alarms. I went to complain several months ago that this was a safety concern, with so many false alarms it's hard for people to take the alarms seriously and could cause injuries, I was merely dismissed. A couple months later the building across from me burned down and there have still continued to be false fire alarms. I went to complain and was dismissed once again, was also told that it wasn't their fault and they put the blame on maintenance workers. Another thing to add is the staffs disrespect of privacy. I put in a request to have some mold looked at in one of my closets, I was not notified there would be a worker coming by. The man knocked twice, I told him I'd be one minute but he unlocked my door barging in on me naked as I had just gotten out of the shower. Completely unprofessional and unsafe living environment. Wish I could...
Read moreNice apartment, but thatâs about it. First off, Iâll say that even before I signed the lease, Jordan was very slow to respond. There were multiple times when I had to reach out to him and ask things again, or follow up with him because so much time had gone by. That should have been my first clue!! My entire move in and move out experience was HORRIBLE!! I was moving from out of state, and was told that my apartment would be ready Monday morning. I go down to the office that morning and spoke with Jordan and he told me that the apartment wasnât ready yet. When I asked why no one informed me of that earlier, he said âI was just going to call you.â He said to give them a few hours and call back. Me and my family drove around, since we had already checked out of our hotel. I called back 4 hours later and was told that it still wasnât ready, that we would have to wait at least another 2 hours. Called back again, after waiting another 2 hours and got the same answer. We did not get into our apartment until 7:00 that night and it still wasnât complete clean. Nothing horrible, but still. Then we had asked to rent a washer dryer unit, which was placed in our lease. There was no washer dryer unit. We called the next day and was told someone would be there that day. No one came. Called the next day, same story. Three days later we told them to take it off our lease and we would buy our own. Then, circumstances beyond my control, forced my family and I to leave and break our lease. The process was smooth enough, or so I thought. When I gave them the keys and left my contact information, I asked if there was anything else I owed or that they needed from me. I was told no. Then 6 months later, I notice something pop up on my credit report, saying that I owe this apartment complex $100. I called them, got no answer. Called again and spoke with Jordan who told me that I had a balance on my rent. When I asked why I had never been contacted about it, he said he didnât know and he would leave a message for his supervisor. I received an email from Rose telling me that I owed the money and that they had nothing to do with it anymore. When I asked why I wasnât contacted about the balance owed, she said it would have been listed on the portal. When I explained that my access to the portal had been taken away when I moved out, she said âyes, you would not be able to access the portal once your lease endedâ. So again I asked how was I supposed to know I had a balance, to which she didnât answer. Unbelievable!! I was so enraged! Even when I called the collection agency, they stated that the address they had listed for me was the address I had just moved out of and that they had sent letters to me. What!!! So how was I supposed to pay this debt?? This was a horrible experience from start to finish, which is a shame because the apartment really was nice and roomy. Oh and for those who donât know, like we didnât know, the school buses do not come inside the complex. No idea why not, itâs the stupidest thing Iâve...
Read moreThe property is amazing and itâs an awesome place to be. Management lack honesty and customer services. A lot of successful businesses tends ignore the people that made them who they are and thatâs usually the cause of their downfall . Stealing deposits, lying mostly on walk through to make random things they canât find to charge you with so they can keep your deposits. I got $1000 charged for not smoking in the building, but for a smell they claimed they couldnât figure out what it was , when I ask the other staff of which I was communicating with whatâs going on, they claimed they have no idea what the lady was making up , she was contacted, no response as always. On top of all the made up overcharges, I was told the remaining small deposit check was in the mail 3 months ago, I still havenât gotten it and Iâm not the only one that lost their deposit for no legitimate reason. They can make their money honestly and succeed forever, but they decide to steal deposits of residence, I guess theyâre not thinking long term . Iâm not here to tarnish anyoneâs name , notice I mentioned no name . Itâs not that serious to me, I just donât want anyone else going through what many of us went through. I havenât met a thieves that never smiled , theyâre always smiling when you walk in there, but youâll never get that âI trust you vibes â itâs too fake and obvious. Only one person in there thatâs capable of turning it all around and actually care . Thanks you Jordan!!!! If you ever find yourself desperate and you must, heâs trustworthy. He just does his job with honesty and dignity, but the higher ups always make his jobs a little harder by the predicament they place him in. Listen Glass Creek!!! I want all my money, including that little small check. Thereâs literally no one you can reach, howâs that even possible? What kind of business is this? Make it easier for the people spending the money on your salary to get in touch with you, itâs an apartment, be available during âOpenâ hours, why make it so...
