I don't even know where to begin with how bad our experience was here. We ordered a stacked washer/dryer unit and were told it would come in around August 1st. We ordered sometime in mid-July. Just before the first we got a call saying we needed to schedule our delivery, and the machine had arrived. Because of this we went ahead and sold our other machines to make space. We have a small home so we wouldn't have room for three machines to be hanging around. TWO different employees called us to confirm the machine was in and to schedule delivery. It was supposed to arrive Tuesday, August 4th. ON THAT DAY, we were informed that the machine that arrived was not actually the machine we ordered and we would not be getting a delivery. And that the our machine was now not coming in until SEPTEMBER 1st. We clearly would not have sold our machines if we knew we had another month to wait. No apologies were offered or discounts for our inconvenience. Also, they were full of excuses and blamed the manufacturer for the error, not themselves. When we tried to call back for more information, they seemed to be evading our calls. So we called another location to cancel our order and go with someone else. The woman who answered the phone asked for our names to pull up our order and said "Oh, you are the dryer screw up", confirming that it was in fact their fault and not the manufacturer. This company will give you the run around, excuses and poor customer service. DO NOT waste your money here. You will regret it and ultimately we were able to get a machine within DAYS when we went through another company. I'd give them no stars if that was an option, they are terrible. Read moreAfter being without a fridge for almost a week and checking the big box stores that would take AT LEAST 1 week to get, we went on Monday to see what Wholesale had in stock. Chuck worked with us regarding what would fit our needs and could be delivered ASAP. He took a while and we were growing a bit frustrated UNTIL we found out that he was literally checking every model to see if there was a way to get one to us the next day. They had 1 model available and we purchased it. The price was about the average (and honestly, I was ok with paying a little bit more than another store because it could be delivered the next day, not 3-4 days out). He told us that the delivery would likely be in the afternoon on Tuesday. Imagine my surprise when the delivery guy called at 0900 and said that they should be there with about 30 minutes! I was ecstatic! Randy and Andy showed up and got right to work. I could tell that they had done this for a while and had worked together many times. They were very efficient and very careful about every move they made. They were extremely courteous and thorough in everything. Randy even apologized for making a mess with all of the little minute pieces of styrofoam and asked for a broom so that he could sweep it all up. After removal of the old fridge and installation of the new one, they asked if I needed any help moving furniture back into place. Read moreWe purchased our appliances with Wholesale Appliance and the initial experience was good. Chuck took the time with us even though we came in right before they closed. We told him our situation that we needed this in Myrtle Beach and before a particular date and Chuck confirmed he did not see an issue with it as long as the delivery could be on a Tuesday. OK we can work with that. But then the week of delivery and what a mess. When we called up one sales person (Robert) said “Oh yea the washer and dryer are in but not the fridge. But since its not my order I cannot tell you exactly since Chuck made the sale. I was very confused by this answer and this makes no sense; what if Chuck had to leave on an emergency or God forbid got hit by a bus? You mean you could not tell a customer about their order? Robert says sorry.
Day of delivery: I called Chuck and asked can you please have the driver give us an idea when he will be arriving? Give us a time frame? 8-12 or 12-5? All we could be told is he should be there today? He should be? Really? Well, that’s reassuring and professional, you can’t even give us the curtesy to at least give us a call the day of delivery. Even Lowes and Home Depot will give you that.
In short: Wholesale appliance over sold and under delivered. We saved maybe $200.00 but I would have gladly paid that for better communication. If you like to get the delivery run around you should shop here, the guy finally showed...
