DECEMBER 2016
My girlfriend and I purchased a chicken mini catering tray and to our horror found dirty hair in one of the pieces inbetween the bread and the meat. I immediately called the store and was told by a person who identified themselves as a manager that my name and my information would be in the office area until I was ready for my replacement tray even after I notified them that I was rightfully upset and that it might be some time before I would be able to return to this location with trust in their products intact. Finally, this week, yesterday to be specific, I went to get my replacement tray and was esentially called a liar due to 'all "mistakes" being recorded electronically in their database'. The employee, who claimed to be a manager but was wearing standard teamwear, insinuated that I was lying to get free food because there was no office area with peoples names listed as I was previously told over the phone. I was then told to either provide a receipt or go through my bank records to find a statement. They could have just made it right and given me the benefit of the doubt as a Christian organization would assumably do vs. telling someone to jump through hoops to prove their claims. Simply out of principle, I went home and dug through my records until I found the the statement. I went back to the store the following day, statement in hand and was once again treated like I was trying to pull a fast one due to the amount of time that had elapsed since my original phone call to the store about the dirty hair in my mini tray. I asked the employee "Considering the situation that lost my appetite, do you not understand why I did not want to return immediately to get more?" and in response I was told that they "Guess" they would take care of it because I was holding up service (inside). So, I did in fact receive my mini tray but after jumping fences and due to the piss poor attitudes attached to two FOH people on two back to back days I have to keep my review at a low rating, at least for now until,.I able to stomache my return.
5.31.18 UPDATE
I thought I would give this plate another try this morning, so I did. While sitting in the drivethru I out of nowhere wondered why John Wrenn (the owner) never reached out to me or responded to my negative review after more than a year has gone by. Almost all the small businesses in the area care enough to reach out online or via phone to correct a customers bad experience. Maybe John doesn't reach out because he thinks that one person doesn't make the difference? Any response now would most certainly not be genuine or trustworthy. Subsequently and back to my followup experience at this CFA location this morning, I put them to the test ordering multiple breakfast entrees and multiple sides spending around twenty dollars which resulted in being sent around front and waiting for fiveishhh minutes, no problem. The problem is that right after getting home I discovered my hash browns were M.I.A. !!!

Read moreThis was once my favorite Chick-fil-A, now my least favorite. The quality of this location's food and service has got so bad that I gave it three repeat failures before I decided to stop eating at this location. On my last visit, they must have been short of chick "filet" so they stuffed a few chicken nuggets between a bun and served that as a sandwich in drive thru. What was worse, was that when I reached into the bag to eat the sandwich while driving, all the nuggets dropped out and under the driver's seat. That is unacceptable, while there are other locations that still do things right. When I returned, I had to go inside to show the manager what happened. He dismissed it and said it looked like I sliced the meat up and he offered another sandwich. Then I waited at least 5 minutes for the do over before I spoke up and asked why I'm waiting again while new orders are being served. Apparently the manager forgot that I should be a priority since I already waited for my food in drive thru, drove away, drove back, collected the nuggets from under my seat, and had to go inside. I was thinking Truet Cathy himself was turning in his grave that this manager didn't simply offer me a complete free meal for this screw up. What bothered me most was that this manager was an idiot. How are you going to tell a customer a sandwich looks like it was sliced up when all the pieces of meat are breaded all the way around? There were no slice marks. I was to nice to this guy, and should have...
Read moreI wanted to share an extraordinary moment I experienced today while picking up my family’s online lunch order. I waited in the car per the instructions and noticed one employee bringing food items out and placing them on a cart while another employee would deliver them to the customers’ car. Before bringing the items to me, I noticed another patron not follow instructions and walk over to the cart and pick up the drink tray that I assumed was mine based on the contents. I immediately felt uncomfortable in this environment and intended to say something when the employee brought the food to me. However, I noticed him approach her, ask her name and then told her she had the wrong order and explain they were asking patrons to remain in their vehicles. He then proceeded to take the drinks back instead, and presumably came back out with a new set of drinks. I was really impressed that he had the foresight to relieve the potential danger to a customer and took action. I thanked him for his efforts but kept thinking to myself how hard these kids have been working over the last few months while maintaining the same pleasant nature we expect from a Chick-Fil-A employee. Each time I come to pick up orders, they a striving to do their jobs, keep the customer safe, and protect themselves. I am grateful to our local Chick-Fil-A for their dedication and hard work. They keep knocking it out...
