I purchased 12 Jarritos and the cashier asked me to pay $1.90 for each bottle. When I told him that Safeway offers it at $1 per bottle, he said, okay I can give it for $1.50, which prompted me to not buy the drinks altogether. I'd also purchased some other drinks (for which I had to pay $22, when in fact, the market rate for the same drinks was $14). When asked for an invoice, the cashier provided me the proof of payment and not the receipt -- which essentially meant that I couldn't return the drinks.
It's surprising to me that the store can get away with such duping at such a prime location in Mountain View. I'd strongly recommend staying away...
